This week's chapter was nice IMO. Got me pumped for things to come

This is the start of the new arc I suppose, I hope mashima doesn't throw in excessive fanservice. A little fanservice is okay but too much (Ahem, last week's chapter for example) is just plain unnecessary. From the looks of todays chapter, things are going the right way but you never know I guess.

This chapter really made up for last week aweful chapter. :x3: I did not see this ending coming! DAMN! Hiro really out did himself. It was really unexpected and Hardly any fan service this week! Also Juvia is hilarious XD I love her. overall awesome chapter! Hope this keeps up

this magic council is so god damn weak and useless. they have got destroyed twice... and to think all of Tartaros' members are from the book of Zeref...

but it was fun with that fanservice in the middle with Juvia and Grey... xD

Also, a Demon that knows Devil Slaying Magic and hates demons who likes to be in "man" form. I'm calling a plot twist.

Can't remember the last time Fairy Tail produced a chapter this amazing. That twist with the magic council was absolutely mind blowing=D 5/5

Yep, this was a truly good chapter. I initially thought that the council would make their move and then decimated... I guess that was too optimistic; a successful assassination attempt was truly shocking. The nine demon gates look pretty epic and strong, I was kinda disappointed that they are actually just demons though. Seven years ago Grimoire Heart was considered the strongest of the three main Balam Alliance members, would the power of demons really waver that much over such a short span of time? Anyways... still a fantastic chapter that really grapped my attention for the duration.​

I second this. I too was a bit disappointed that they were all demons but I am interested in seeing E.N.D. since he/she is supposed to be the strongest of Zeref's creations.

that seemed contradicting to myself as well. a demon that knows demon slaying magic whats the point of a demon slaying other demons. its basically telling us now that magics are passed down from demons and dragons for a means to an end.

I feel like we can already predict who's going to face who. Which is a little disappointing, but should still be entertaining. Just as an example "Sliver Vs Gray" and "Mirajane Vs Freiza Looking Chick" "The Exploding Cat person Vs Natsu" <--"This one I'm not to sure about.
