Well, I guess rather than pull power out of nowhere, Mashima decided to establish the dragonslayers have a ways to go.
Before anyone freaks out though, keep in mind we have a massive amount reading over the next two weeks.

The real question now is... What's next?

2 stars for me. I am very displeased that Future Rouge got killed off that quickly. To top off more anger, we get even MORE unnesecary Lucy fanservice. And my biggest issue with this chapter is the reveal of the reason why Rouge fell into the darkness. I hate to admit it, but Rouge is a worse villain than Obito. Obito fell into darkness because of a chick, but Rouge fell into darkness because of a god damn cat. I don't understand what the hell makes these cats so special. If Happy gets a bruise on his leg, then there is going to be an entire chapter devoted to him. I don't understand his writing. It would have been a 1 star, but the Jerza moment boosted up to 2 stars.

When they defeat an enemy they shouldnt you ppl complain and now when they couldnt defeat them you still complain, it made sense to do what hiro did because they are not strong enough to take on dragons, I personally liked it that mavis and they all admitted they had no chance, also liked the nalu, jerza and gale moments XD

pretty lame ending to the arch. As I was reading i'm like maybe the next page will have an interesting twist, maybe next page, but alas it just ended. It just doesn't make sense, why didn't FLucy just tell them to destroy the gate in the first place, because 10000 dragons are going to come through it Or why they didn't get the idea to destroy the gate sooner.

At least they pointed out that the dragon slayers never slayed a dragon, at that there is somewhere to go from here.

There are still a lot of loose ends to tie up though, ie Jellal/Kagura/Milliana and will he go back to jail, where will Yukino go now (to FT or rejoin ST), what is going to happen to sabertooth the guild, where is minerva, does FT still get the prize money and fix up the guild building.

still a decent chapter, nice to see the arc end. All the haters in this thread need to get stfu and stop complaining, this is a for fun series, stop taking it so seriously.

Chapter was a 2/5 overall and I will agree the ending sucked. The were only two possible ways hiro could have went I mean Mavis even said Dragon slayers couldn't slay a dragon, so only way of defeating them was to destroy the gate.

Anyways hope next arc will be exciting and good.

So what if its cat, frosh is rogue's best friend and it makes perfect sense that he went mad because his "best friend" died.
Friends are friends, it doesn't matter if they are human or animal.
Look what happen to sting when he "thought" lector got killed by his guild master.
And then we have this weird "shadow" taking over his body and making him evil. Maybe its related to some darkspell of zeref or something.

4/5 I like it how Hiro is showing just how powerful the dragons really are and this leaves wondering what is going to happen next. Also I can't wait for the TRIPLE CHAPTER RELEASE!

The way they won was rushed and disappointing.

None of the dragon slayers could kill/defeat a dragon, i don't know how they're gonna beat Acnologia

Again, about the DS facing dragons, it was kinda pointless, seeing how Natsu's fight was viewed more.

Hiro time travel was not the best thing, this villain went down too easy -___-

The ending was a bit rushed and i was hoping for FRouge to tell Natsu how Frosch died, current Rouge can't keep a eye on him 24/7, and Mavis seemed pretty interested in the dragon slayers i wonder what else she was thinking. Overall not the best chapter but it was ok can't wait for next weeks 3 chapters .

Seems like Mavis is still hiding quite a bit of information from her former guild. It also seems like they needed to beat a dragon, might she know the truth behind Acnologia.
