this weeks chapter of FT was actually...good

This chapter was actually good...it's been years since i've read a good chapter of FT..I can't believe that there was no BS in this chapter, It seems like hiro mashima is finally getting serious. I hope he keeps it up cause FT has been slowly going down hill for the last few years...

I actually liked this chapter, did anyone else find this chapter good?

If I understand this correctly, even if Ultear didn't use that magic she would have died. The way Hades described it that one minute was her life. Even though everyone knew Ultear was going to do something to save Gray, I don't think anyone expected it to be a minute. If she didn't go back in the past than I would think it's safe to assume that she would have died by one of the little dragons, or by a building falling from a fight.

If she did die I think everyone would know it was her that gave him that premonition of the future. I think Gray realized it was Ultear. Whenever they were talking about it they thought someone was warning them, and Gray said, "Someone..." Gray probably realized it was Ultear because of her Time Magic.

Overall, I really liked this chapter. xd

Bit of a plot hole that only the good guys were able to use it to their advantage.

As much as I like the one-minute rewind instead of time-travelling till Gates were opened, Hiros time-travelling concepts got quite some plotholes to me; ever since he started the idea... Time-travel is a tough topic and concept to write - it's a bit of risky field to venture a story concept conception.

I agree. Exactly, my perception of why it was only one-minute. Mostly her death was incoming and fated in any case. That being said, she lamented herself for minutes on the ground, had a flashback, cried, cursed herself ect...So, in some case, she could have rewinded for more than a minute. Someone already said it earlier, but take now for example the dragons who killed Gray. If they saw a flash of the future they saw themselves killing Gray, so why would they change what they were doing? If they knew that everyone got these visions, then they should have known that Gray and the others were expecting them, however currently these mini-dragons haven't really shown much reason and if you're alone it doesn't even matter.

If you have a premonition of dying, logically you are going to try to change that. However if you have a premonition of killing someone who you want to kill there isn't really a reason to change anything.

Im so disapointed in the sense that I was expecting a super mega s-class reaction from juvia due to grey's death.
I even thought of her awakening some water dragon slaying magic.
Oh well, maybe I just think too much.

Maybe we will still see it but I want to know more details about her time ark magic, not just a few pages.

mabye the anime will have a couple of good fillers and put in an episode or two showing more of her history of learning magic.
