I don't think that is the answer. Simple reasoning is that Laxus for example is a dragon slayer because he had dragon lacryma infused in him, not because he was taught by dragons. He is also makarov's grandson so I assume that such a time travelling thing wouldn't actually go unnoticed.

Zeref and Natsu being related...quite possible. But for natsu to be Zeref's son, he doesn't need to have time travelled.

Time travelling for me is not the answer for this particular question.

It's just something i came up with , 2nd generation dragon slayers don't really apply... but i wonder what the source for the lacrima is... is it a regular lacrima infused and imbued with the power of a dead dragon? I know/am certain that if the dragonslayers time travelled that Cobra and Laxus did not , but :Natsu,Gajeel,Wendy,Sting,Rogue did... (this only applies if they did time travel)
