Totally agree with you superfuzzyllama, Gajeel & Natsu both had a read on their opponents moves & true strength. I think sting & rogue have DF, but at a lower power level than Natsu or Gajeel. People, check the last couple pages of FT 293; Igneel is talking with Weisslogia & Skiadrum, Sting & Rogue's dragons, meaning their claims are false. I think you can then infer they aren't as strong as they think.

@All of you people saying sting and rogues dragons are alive, I just have to say, you dont seem to read a lot of manga. Igneel mentioned the dragons names, but thats it. He was just wondering as to the ability of the dragon slayers they raised. Damn I dont actually know how to describe this but its just a form of speech that I have seen in a lot of manga. Like for instance, a character might repeat the first name of another character to death like Orihime from bleach screaming (KUROSAKI KUN KUROSAKI KUN)x9999999.
Additionally, nice chapter. Was expecting Natsu to use lightning flame mode, at least for the final hit or 2, but seeing him being able to use that crimson lotus move outside of lightning flame mode was pretty cool too. Dragon Slayer Ultimate Technique, sort of a side bonus, every other major ds magic we have seen has just been called secret art, like stings holy nova punch thing quite recently. In any case, glad to see Minerva pissed off. Would kill to see an annoyed Sabertooth master punish sting, not so much rogue he hasnt been a jerk at all so far IMHO. He didnt even go along with his other guildies to Minerva after she beat Lucy senseless. He just stood back. Also, someone said they wanted to see Sabertooth master fight Makarov. Pointless matchup. The way she is now, Erza could solo sabertooths master by herself. Laxus would just accidentally murder him, Natsu also could probably fight on par with the sabertooth master. Not too sure about Gajeel since he lacks the ability to power up like natsu if needed. But yea, Genma is NO match for Makarov, no one in this tournament is, except perhaps Jellal.
