New to this site but I am loving Fairy Tail! Really digging this new arc and how FT members who were sealed away for 7 years are showing just how awesome they are.
Pretty keen to see Laxus fight in the next chapter! My Saturday's work with FT manga and anime!

Wow.. Another chapter for the ass pull museum of Mashima
Section: Instant power ups
next to eating Lacrima, eating god flames, eating golden jellal flame, eating thunder and of course Ultears time ark power up at the start of the tournament.
He is not even trying anymore to make it believable, weak filleresque chapter where nothing happened.
Too bad Cana only has spotlight moments when it doesn't matter. Would've been better if she was able to land a punch on blue note's face last arc but she was useless back then.
besides if you have ever watched DBZ this felt like it was some kind of Deja-vu
What's next ? Natsu the Fairy Glitter Fire Thunder Dragon Slayer ?

Obviously most of this arc is simply power spamming. That was basically the entire point of the tournament so I don't know why people are complaining. Fairy Tail was the weakest guild and they need to seem stronger very fast. The only way to do that is power spamming. Though I do agree that Lightning/Fire Dragon Slayer is just plain stupid. I have no idea why it stayed. It should have been a one time thing.
Laxus vs. Alexei is about to be the fight for all ages. It seems that Alexei knows Laxus and Gajeel because when they arrived he recognized them immediately. I hope they don't waste the next chapter's suspense with meaningless talking and some good stuff actually happens.

Lol awesome to see Cana get her shine on. The power scales in Fairy Tail are getting to DBZ levels now. Everybody has become hax, i wonder if Cana and Erza can do that then what can Laxus Gray Gazeel and Natsu can do?
