In comparison to naruto, I actually liked the way Juvia talked her way out of fighting her opponent XD It was emotional and I sort of chuckled when Gray was crying after it all >_> but I wonder what ultear's plan is?

I reckon it has something to do with her mother, probably a revival through Zeref's power or the 'key' they keep mentioning. She's not an ally of fairy tail, that's for sure but more of an ally to Gray and the only thing linking the two is Ur and plus, all throughout the manga, we've seen countless of revivals XD so I won't be too surprised.

Yeah, it's good to see battles solved through other means than fighting at times. For example, I've been watching 'Jigoku Shoujo' recently, and I find myself hoping that they don't pull that god damn string and give each other another chance, but each time I feel disappointment, because I'm naive...
Maybe Ultear wants to recruit Gray? I mean, she didn't attack him or kill him instantly, which she probably could've judging by how he was crying~

My guess is that she is just using grimoire hearts plans for her own gain. Like an undercover agent O_O Maybe she'll use Zeref's magic to enhance her own and take a leap from controlling the age of objects, into controlling the age of life... Thus bringing me back to my initial thoughts on my first post.

Quite possibly, it'll be interesting to see what she'll do with Gray next chapter^^

That Ultear has quite the changing personality. First she calls her mother pathetic and she never cared about her death. Then she says to Werendy she's mad at Gray for "killing" Ul (or Werendy just assumed that she's mad, either way she told Werendy the story of her mother's death) and now she wants to join Gray?

Talking about having a complex character, though she might just be lying because she knows Gray would be confused due to her resembles with Ul.
