I like fairy tail, I think its great. I like death note, its complexity is great in my opinion. It makes my heart beat quickly and makes me think. If you don't like death note that's fine because you are entitled to your opinion. I can see why some people wouldn't like it.
Do you have any reasons why you think Fairy Tail is a masterpiece ?
Concentrate on what ? You're not working anything out. You just have to marvel at the intricate plans both Kira and L used to fight each other.
I like fighting with overpowered stuff.

I love Fairy Tail too, but…Ummm, yeahh…Death Note is much much much more better than FT. I love an anime that makes me use my brain

True Fairy Tail is not that hard to understand, good anime but simple as... main character about to lose, friend gets hurt, power of feelings make him get up and smash his opponent. Simple but good, and kinda annoying.
see i don't really get all the hate on FT, i enjoy the manga and anime; but like the first poster I don't enjoy Death Note but for different reasons. I'm not into the gothic mass murder type manga/anime. does it make me a bad person nope just means i have different tastes than someone else who may hate FT but love Death Note.
we are all entitled to our own opinions, just like I think HSD: Kenichi should be considered one of the better all around mangas out right now and in the top 10 if not the top 5 out, while i don't particularly enjoy OP and havn't been able to see what all the hype is about, but thats just a personal opinion in which we are all allowed.
that being said, FT isn't really a masterpiece. there has been a lack of desperation within the manga as of late but i'm hoping this current arc brings some of that back that we last saw during the Anacologia attack. you started to see that when grey took that shot to the skull but it kinda disappeared way to quickly, especially when Natsu went OP again
