[Spoilers] Fairy Tail Episode 86

I just watched the latest episode and I'm a bit confused. I thought Erza already beat Kyoka while Minerva made the final blow and finished her off in episode 84. But in 86, they're still fighting and it seems like the parts that already happened. Can someone explain to me what's going on?

Also, I have to say, since this season started, the animation during the fights were absolute trash to me, but in the last two episodes, the animation is better than ever. I'm impressed.

Its all happening before 20 minutes erza defeated kyouka.
As for animation the gmg arc had bad animation, the animation has improved a lot from tartarus arc.I like it as a whole
