With the Fairy Tail anime being removed from Hiatus on april. A new character designer named "Shinji Takeuchi" Will be designing the characters for the new FT:

Personally, I'm happy they re-designed the characters. The characters now look more closer to the manga.

 

[Sir Blades]

I like these, they look much better than the previous ones. I am excited for anime to start again.

Again the character design are REALLY GOOD, i like it when the anime interpretation is closer to the manga.

No, I see much of an improvement. The character designs in the new one look for HD then the original. The new revamping was really needed.

I can see the difference big time, just like I been saying about early Naruto Shippuden vs the war arc. It's small things, but they add up.

Is Fairy tail good? I been on the fence to wanting to read it. Is this a reboot of the anime or a continuation?

I liked Natsu's new design better but for Lucy I prefer the original. But the designs look more polished.

It's been confirmed to return in spring in April 2014.

No noticeable difference... Seriously. But its not like they need it. The visuals are already good.
