The chapter starts with Natsu wondering what kind of wizard August is. Lucy begs him not to start a fight and Brandish reminds him that he’ll be annihilated the moment he starts a fight with August.
Brandish says August is gentle in nature, and among the twelve he’s person who you can have a proper talk with. However, his loyalty to the emperor is unwavering.
Brandish apparently still has no idea how to negotiate with August. It also turns out that Mest, the guy who said Brandish only plans to escape in the previous chapter, was following them, still suspicious of her.
Then Lucy asks “Are we seriously going there on foot?”, Natsu says he can’t ride a carriage, and then Brandish says she’s got an idea - she made Happy grow large. Brandish seems to like fluffy stuff.
The next scene is in the guild’s basement. Mavis tells Cana to attack her more seriously and destroy her (pertaining to her body frozen on what seems to be ice?). Cana answers that she can’t attack a nakama, even if the nakama is just a ghost. Mavis tells her that Cana is similar to her best friend, then adds that their hairstyle is similar. Kana tsukkomis. Although her friend died at a young age, she was Mavis’ support and the one who gave her the power to move forward. She continues, saying that if Zeera did not die, maybe she grew up to be like Cana. Then she remembers her binge drinking tendencies and says forget what she said. Mavis tells Cana that she’s the only one who can save her and sera from the crystal coffin, and that she Cana is not going to attack a nakama but is going to save a nakama with magic.
Next scene, Zonia.
The monstrous six are still fighting with the enemies. Sting is like still sulking, saying stuff like he hasn’t got his shit together even though he’s the guild master. Then, yukino slaps him, reminding him that times like this is when he should be supporting everyone. They apologize to each other. Sting finally gets his shit together, so he says those who can still move must follow him.
Sting: The lions are still famished. This is our first meal in five days!!!
The pegasus people also says they can still fight, ect…
Minerva uses her badass magic, saying it’s payback to the people who made her guild master cry and she won’t show mercy.
The scene shifts to Irene, Juliet and Haine.
Irene says there won’t be any problem as long as Bradman and Rakeid are here (Rakeid wasn’t not his surname, sorry about that).
People are running for their lives because of Bradman. Gajeel attacks him, then asks “what does it feel like to be crucified? Makes me remember my worst memory of the past” (a flashback of Levy crucified by him was shown)
