- Wahl has an etherion gun inside him, and he prepares to fire it at Laxus

- Before he can be hit by Wahl, he is protected by Freed's barrier

- Wahl prepares to cancel the barrier, so he can aim and fire at Laxus

- There is such a presence that the effect of the magic blocking particles has been disabled

- Laxus uses a spell called Crimson Thunder on Wahl, which he inherited from Yuri, which 'grinds' Wahl

I guess Nakama power was the wrong word, I was talking about Laxus leading Yuri's magic from Makarov (as indicated by the last statement) when Makarov was only 4 when Yuri died
