, they all say the little girl is Mavis and used a spell called fairy sphere. No idea how they found out but they seem pretty certain.

I knew it! I said that the chick was probably Mavis! I bet Zeref is related to Natsu. Maybe like his brother or father. If you think about it, Natsu was raised by a dragon. Zeref is able to call forth the dragon of death basically. Maybe Zeref is in control of the dragons and left Natsu there to be trained so he could kill him. He knew of Natsu and his abilities but Natsu didn't know him.

Also I figured Mavis wasn't dead, how else could Cana get fairy glitter.
