I am a big Neji fan, he's awesome enough said. The Hyuga clan is suppposed to be probably like the 3rd best clan behind the Uchiha and Senju of course. Neji is dead, Hizashi is dead, Hiashi is alive but is playing head of the hyuga clan so he isn't going to be able to do much. Hinata is good but Neji is the genius, we all know Hinata would have never surpassed what Neji became if he was still alive.

Neji deserve some respect of the fan base, because he's one of the coolest, badass shinobi he's ever was but Kishi decided to sht on him =(

kishi made a fool of hyuuga.
initially it was said hyuuga were among the strongest in konoha
now seeing the characters develop, the hyuuga are lagging a lot in their powers in comparison to that of konoha shinobi.
if shinobi frm other villages were accounted they wuld be just a normal clan.

According to the First Databook, there were four noble clans in Konoha: Uchiha (well until the massacre), Hyuuga, Aburame and Akimichi. But it's never brought up in the manga and only the Uchihas live up to this story and power wise. So maybe Kishi had some ideas but for some reason never got to explore those clans. But then again, that would mean too many sidetracking of the main story.

The Hyugas were said to have eyes that surpass the Sharingan, granted 3 tomes but they haven't had the ability to showcase their abilities with a high level fight. Neji should have fought an akatsuki member, he should have helped out Gai more. The Hyugas are too badass not to show them off more. Neji had no really super relevant fights. hell Kidomaru is probably the best guy he ended up beating by himself.
