Failure of WB pirates???

I want to know the reason why WB pirates were unable to retrieve Ace safely when they were regarded as the most powerful fleet on the oceans and even when around 40 of their allies were helping them......

First WB pirates were unable to breach the plaza but WB helped them to do so after that they weren't able to reach the platform and Luffy with the help of revolutionaries got there and with the help of Mr.3 rescued Ace....

After rescue, Ace was somehow able to hold his ground even though he shouldn't have been in the combat being the rescued one...

My Q. is WTH WB commanders were doing when Ace was about to confront Akainu and when Luffy was about to be soloed by the admiral??? Even then Jimbei leaped into the action despite that WB commanders had a very strict order from WB to protect Luffy and consequently Ace at any cost...

Overall, I believe WB commanders were responsible for the failure at marineford because they didn't took the whole matter seriously...

And because of this I m forced to like only WB and Ace from WB pirates....

i disagree, the marines planed very well for the attack on marineford and Ace and luffy would have got away safely but Ace got pissed off at akainu and went back to his death.

it was necessary for Luffy's development. also don't forget the marines gathered their full power too.

Ace was retrieved by Luffy. The retrieval was a success, but not safe because that's not how things work when it's the Marines. The downside to the success was Aces' attitude, that got him killed.

So I wouldn't attribute any failure anywhere considering the retrieval was a Success.

wb commanders along with croc and others couldnt even defeat akainu. smh. and wb is slow as fuk and overrated. hes way too cocky and it led to their defeat.

he cuda done something much better than just standing there for how many episodes and watch his allies suffer.

You can blame the failure at marineford to alot of things.

1. You can blame Whitebeard being passive most of the time his army was getting killed
2. You can blame the commander´s for not being at the right place at the right time.
3. You can blame Ace´s attitude which got him killed in the end.
4. You can blame the Whitebeard´s general lack of knowledge going into this war
5. You can blame the way the new world pirates were used by Whitebeard
6. You can blame Luffy´s ignorance being busy looking at a paper in the middle of a warzone

I´m not gonna lie, some of the things in the war were dumb and very regrettable but it was all for the progression of the story.

Overrated? A full power WB could have sh*t on any person at the war 1 on 1 no problem.
