No I think he purposely didn't use 3rd Hokage..he didn't need to come in this chapter. He didn't need to interact with Madara (Hashi and Tobirama needed too) or Obito (Minato needed too). He will probs get more chapter time when Orochimaru comes back.

And you should reread the current Manga where it is clearly shown that holding the barrier open hampers the ability to create clones..... Madara under normal edo circumstances were able to make 25 wood clones, where as Hashirama himself in strained by barrier circumstances are able to create only six ..... now u do the math how many clones can Hiru make under strained by barrier circumstances.

This is why I don't understand why people say that we're seeing "Prime Hiruzen". Even with unlimited stamina, he doesn't have the strength or chakra levels that he used to. It's not the same. I mean, when Muu used his splitting technique, his second self had unlimited chakra; but because his chakra levels were split in half, he coudn't used Jinton.
