but edo revives people to how they were before death, hence why he still has it

im pretty sure the head can just use the jutsu to temporarily paralyze him.

Maybe I'm not sure it didnt take long for sais brother to regenerate after being compleatly destroyed so I think it may come down to whats faster the regeneration or the sealing.
