facts about minato & tobi's fight

Agreed thus far. I think that they both lost. My point is that minato lost more and tobi did fail in what he set out to do. I never said he did not, yet tobi for the moment still has a chance to see his plans threw. i think overall he walked away with more from that night then the fourth did which i why i give him the win. For the fourth to have so much hype tobi easily set off events that made minato look not as strong as talked about. not to mention as far as we know tobi did that all by himself.

you do realize that in stories like this one the bad guy always loses so when Minato sealed the Kyubbi in Naruto he started a chain effect that will eventually lead to Tobi's downfall seriously did you grow up always rooting for the bad guy.

Are you trying to be flamed? really, minato sacrificed himself to not only save an entire village, but gave up a life with his child, plus naruto's mom chose to put the last of her Chakra into naruto's seal, they both chose to save Konohagakure by giving their child the worst life posiible to live with: no parents and being a jinchuriki

as i said before and will say for the last time, minato did not win a fight he died in and so did his wife. i never said tobi himself killed minato so don't put words in my mouth please. Tobi's actions were the catalyst for minato basically being forced to commit suicide. tobi killed the fourths wife when you think about it lol. It is obvious minato is skilled, i never doubted that. but when you put the fight into perspective minato is strong as H** but greatly overrated. Minato has only shown us that he can send objects to other special kunai, and he uses seals for speed. his reaction time is great but his raw speed with out justu is unknown.


During the fight with tobi minato did quickly figure out tobi technique (smart man). Yet during the very next move tobi figured him out but got countered and hit. that was the end of their fight but tobi had already basically killed minatos wife, and the biju tobi unleashed would in the end kill minato. so how is it that minato gets praised for such a epic fail? i understand folks like the char,but facts are facts. I have no favs i just enjoy the show as a whole

um ok minato was called the strongest ninja when he was alive.
his speed comes from seals yes but thats what makes him so strong and thats the same about madara because he is only good cos he has the sharingan..
we dont know all minatos jutsu we only know ftg and resengan so you cant say minato is crap or anything he had to have more powerful and skilled jutsu to become hokage.
he only died because he was protecting his child and toby was a cheat and went after minatos child and wife... plus we know toby is SOOOO strong but minato still hit him with a resengan so we know minato could have won if toby didnt go after his family which made the ninetails be released. sorry but you have no right to say how strong minato was he was a stronger ninja then madara because he faught for the right side and didnt kill his brother and betray the hidden leaf :scorps:

No matter what the thread starter thinks he is so far wrong that he landed in a different manga. He has no idea what he is talking about nor does anyone else that thinks Tobi defeated Minato only one person achieved their goal that night and the other one FAILED. Does it need to be repeated again who accomplished their goal and to make matters worse, Tobi thought he was invincible but well as we all know all he got was a great BIG :flaw: and had to run away with his fail tail between his legs.

Dude i completely agree with you and cannot express how right you are. Everything this guy just said is correct. I tried to make a post like this before and all i got was grief from these ****in minato fans.Stop bumlicking charactes when you find out they are strong and enjoy the show!

completly agree, Minato's acts are not overated!

in the first place, tobi did not released kyubii out of kushina to kill someone. the main purpose of that is to steal the fox for himself. so stop the nonsense. tobi did not released the kyubii and forced minato to commit suicide basically losing the fight. second, tobi wasnt even controlling the fox when it got out of kushina, so the series of events that resulted to minatos death was not of tobi's doing. we could say that the kyubii itself forced minato to kill himself, but definitely not tobi. the epic fail in this was the plan of tobi. everything did not go according to plan. while for minato, he was even able to transfer the kyubii into a better jinchurikii. so all in all, minato's deeds won it all, and tobi failed dramatically. the fight scene between tobi and minato on the other hand, well we all not what happened to that. your facts against mine. think about.
