Fact: ZETSU IS UNDERRATED

Zetsu is tagged as the akatsuki fodder... but i think he is one of the strongest...

I can proove it just with one scan... His mokuton can keep up with KCM Naruto's speed... I mean he can use mokuton so fast that he trapped KCM Naruto...

Also he was keeping up with Chojuro, Mei, KCM Naruto and 3 probably med jonnin level shinobis at the same time...

He is underrated. I believe people forget that he is the reason Obito and Madara all have Hashirama's DNA and can use Mokuton. He is essentially Wood element personified, so he is clearly strong, but I feel that his power is purposefully limited because he can ONLY show wood style, which is better shown through Hashi himself and Madara. They make Zetsu's power badass in hindsight.

Zetsu is one of my favorite characters but he is definitely one of the weakest akatsuki members, imho he beats hidan at least Lol.

imo, he is the 4th or 5th strongest Akatsuki, only behind Itachi or Kisame, when he is together and can use all his white and black powers, including the undetectable chakra leeching clones. The idea that he is the weakest comes from when Tobi said that he is not really a battle type so can't deal with capturing the 9 Tails Jinchuriki, but that was talking about the most powerful jinchuriki there is, which even Pain couldn't deal with, AND that was in reference to only the white Zetsu. The black Zetsu wasn't conjoined with him, but the black Zetsu has clearly been shown to be a powerful battle-type being able to take on the Mizukage and her team during the war long enough before Naruto arrived.

The white one has shown some impressive moves, including the undetectable chakra copying, chakra leeching and chakra transferring + can make clones of himself that can do the same thing. Now imagine that being combined with the black one, which can use mokuton on the level of giving KCM Naruto a challenge. And then add that with the ability of discreetly taking chakra from his opponents and giving it back to himself. Zetsu is a powerful force to be reckoned with. He can copy their powers whilst fighting, although not to the same level, but the fact that he could take chakra from his opponents to fuel himself I reckon covers that. Elite shinobi who either have overpowered weapons or power, like Pain and Itachi, or have abilities that perfectly counter Zetsu, like Kisame's Samehada.

Zetsu, being a sensor, got speed blitzed by Mei :3 That says something about the abilities he should specialize in. Rest is, well, mediocre. Mokuton and spores should be enough to take care of jounins and most of K11, but he is nowhere near kage level.

*I'm talking about his fighting abilities. His usefulness in other fields is a different story.*
