Eye Techniques

Do the eye techniques from the Uchiha lay in the eye or the user? What I mean by this is, when an eye is transplanted, (perhaps because maybe izanagi was used) and someone like obito who happened to obtain so many sharingans transplants an eye. Do the techniques from that eye become that of the user or the eye is adapted to use the users techniques.(if that makes sense) I know that someone might point out Kakashi's experience but he isn't an Uchiha so he didn't have any eye techniques to begin with. For example: let's say that Sasuke looses an eye and he just happens to get a hold of one of the Kamui eyes, will he be able to use Kamui or not? Just wondering ​

ofcourse... everybody wanted to have shisuis eyes, if you couldn't get techniques from the, danzou wouldnt destroyed it after he got ass kicked.

the technique of the eye remains the same the user adapts to the eye.

I believe the techniques are in the eyes. Not only did Kakashi gain powers that he wouldn't have had, but if you remember when Naruto and Bee met up with Edo Itachi and Edo Nagato, one of Itachi's crows forced itself out of Naruto's mouth and used Kotoamatsukami on Itachi which is what freed him from the control of Kabuto. Itachi goes goes on to explain that he had transplanted one of Shisui's eyes into the bird with the instructions to defend the Hidden Leaf. Now, having said all of that, I am pretty sure that birds cannot use genjutsu in any way, so the power had to come from Shisui's MS.

it is in the eye and the user. the ms eye itself has three main abilites: tsukuyomi, amaterasu and susano'o. but it can gain one extra ability depending on the user and their circumstances when getting the ms

Its obvious the abilities lay in the person because itachi, and Obito have completely different abilities.

Some users obviously have the same techniques though.
