Just curious, because from my perspective, why would he want to? He wouldn't be able to be him as Obito desires peace (albeit a round-about method) but the end goal is truly beneficial for the world, despite the cost to reach it.

I can see Madara wanting the Juubi resurrection and becoming it's Jinchuriki for nothing but the power so that he can go ahead and do evil Madara like things like sawing kittens in half and etc. But I don't see how I.T. would help him accomplish that?

What I feel is most people misunderstanding Older son for brother of Sage of 6 paths. Sage's brother honestly and actually only got 1 little manga panel ever. Madara could be reincarnation of Older brother but Sage's brother has no role here! Honestly think about it

Maybe the Jubi was to powerful to be sealed in one person. So the sage's brother took it's body and sealed himself with that's jutsu making the moon. Then Rikudo sealed the other half. it's just a theory, it's not fact. but it's one that is understandable.
