[Question] External linking

Does a post including a link to an external website (could be an image as well) needs to be approved by a mod every time or does it only apply to a particular usergroup (new users etc.) or neither?

It has happened to me a couple of times in the past, when I tried to post the sources for the episode titles that were posted last month.

PS: I did ask Caliburn, but I guess it was stupid of me for not noticing the Q&A section before PMing him.

It doesn't require approval, because it's not allowed in the first place. Narutobase has its own "

" uploading server. And what you're doing falls under Advertising even if you didn't mean to do so.

I think you misunderstood my post...
I was referring to the source for the episode titles i.e. monthly Newtype schedule for Naruto, link to 2ch thread with the titles and the staff info etc. Not the sources to watch the episodes online.

As for the images, I know that the images don't require a moderator's permission in normal circumstances. But it did, for some reason. I got the 'waiting for moderator's approval'-esque note. The same thing happened twice or three times.
