[Theory] extension of one piece (contains spoiler from end of fishman island arc)

So if luffy fights Big Mom after challenging her

and wins he would have to return to fishman island and make it his territory so that would extend the story and like every island arc there would be a plot on the island so we could assume that arc would take more than 1 year (about 48 chapters) (including the way to fishman island and then the plot on the island) and then luffy would have to go from fishman island all the way to raftel adding extra chapters for repeating all the journey from fishman island
So we could say the Straw Hats will start the New World once again after returning to fishman island
so assuming that I'm guessing One Piece has more than 4 years left

Did you not hear the part about One Piece being only halfway through when Ace got executed. That was at chapter 550-600 and it's chapter 700 right now, so there's at least 400+ chapters more of One Piece. That's AT LEAST 8 years.

Yep, I also heard that One piece has 8 more years to go, which is f**king awesome!! One piece is the best manga I have ever read.

one piece chapter 597 marked the halfway point for the manga.... there are many more years to go

I don't remember where I read it but someone said chapter 597(last chapter of pre timeskip) was when OP reached half and that took Oda about 15 years so OP will be around for roughly another 15 years.
