He most likely solos your fave discuss :Sparks:
Okay but seriously lets discuss his powers. They are a bit wonky as Hitsuguya said but we can make sense of IT.
Gerard is the soul king's heart correct? His powers is "The Miracle" mimihagi sama represented stillness and pernida represented progress. Gerard must represent the desires of the "heart" then. As he stated "the masses".
so how does this work? Well one thing was intriguing Gerard said he was bestowed with "everything". What is "everything" could it be all the quincy powers? Not exactly, if we follow what a Miracle entails he is able to do and survive almost anything. Think doomsday from superman exceot much faster regeneration. The sword if hoffnung also represents hope, another attribute generally associated with the heart. The breaking of the sword means destruction of hope. Gerard however didn't seen too astounded by the chipping of his blade if it would harm him. It most likely represents the heart of those whp chip it and as it is chipped so too will the person, a "broken heart" if you will as the heart is in the right side of the body and that appears to be where it struck across.
Gerard is basically like the cpmbobation of a saiyan and majin buu together, physically anyway, with twice the ego. So we can stem that Gerard is akin to doomsday.
There's another theory that I have, a theory that Gerard's power stems from Zaraki's desire for a powerful opponent. An opponent that would give him the "greatest" thrill. Hitsuguya's words even, a match made in heaven? That may be exactly what it is, Gerard's power being the heart of the soul king may represent the heart and desire of those he faces and reflects as a much more powerful being. Especially given the speech of "the masses"the one with the greatest desire is the winner. No-one has greatest desire than Kenpachi. Which would also explain why he said embedded with everything as the heart's desires are endless and thus he technically would have "everything".
Which theory do you guys think is more plausible? What are you expectations or thoughts on the fight.
