I know that many of you may be thinking that the bijuus are the cause because of the fact that shinobi fought over them, but consider this:

1. Remember when Kumo tried to steal the Hyuuga's byakugan? Why did they do that? It's because they wanted power!

2. Do you remember that forbidden scroll from the 1st chapter that Naruto learned shadow clone jutsu from? Why do you think it was so forbidden? It was to keep other villages or traitors within the village from getting their hands on this power. The key word here is power. Konoha and the other villages were lusting for power.

3. Do you remember that forbidden jutsu from that Utakata filler arc? Why were those rouge ninjas after that jutsu so much? It is because the jutsu possessed devastating power!

What do all 3 of these events and things have in common? They all involve the shinobi world's lust for power. Were the bijuus involved in any of these scenarios that I just listed? No they were not! Yet the shinobi still fought over these things.

As you can see from these scenarios, there are plenty of sources of power for the shinobi world to fight over. Shinobi have always fought over power and they will continue to do so with or without the bijuus.

There will always be some forbidden jutsu or some sacred scroll or some secret kekkei genkai that everybody lusts after. It is this lust for power and militarism that has caused the corrupt system that Sasuke is revolting against!

The bijuus are just another source of weaponry like the scrolls or forbidden jutsus.

Therefore the bijuus are not the sources of the problem and eliminating them will not fulfill the goal of Sasuke's revolution.
Yes, it will prevent infinite tsukuyomi from ever happening again and it will stop all bijuu related problems, but that is it.

It will not stop militarism which is the real source of the world's problems! That is why Sasuke's thought process is not completely logical here. He is blaming 9 beings whose murder would solve nothing!

I encourage you once more to think about the previously listed events such as the Hyuuga affair and think to yourself, "Are the bijuus really the source of the problems or is it militarism and power lust?"

I see what you are saying but you are ignoring 2 facts.

1. Even without the bijuus, there is still power. Forbidden jutsus, kekkei genkais to steal, secret scrolls, etc...

2. Nukes, unlike bijuus, aren't victimized sapient creatures that can be made peace with. Therefore eliminating those are fine. However, the bijuus have their own minds and just want to go home. If they are just left alone, then there shouldn't be a problem. Ever since the bijuus helped in the war, shinobi started to see them with more respect.

Sasuke isn't just blaming it all on the Bijuu, he just realizes that they're part of the problem. He's also targeting the Kages to make sure that a whole new system can be created. One that he can control.

Is it flawed? Yes, but no more than Naruto's view of how things should turn out.

No, nukes were created just to destroy. There is no other use for them whatsoever.

This would be like saying that Einstein's works and nuclear energy are the cause of the problems. Learn to interpret.

Bijuus are often used as tools of war, their very presence causes war and conflicts to break out.

What you are saying is rational. However, by this logic, Sasuke is going to have to eliminate chakara as a whole. After all, as stated before, power lust is a key source of the problem.

Even if he does that, humans could still just start inventing mechanical weapons and move into a technological age.

When it comes down to it, he would have to eliminate the entire human race in order to solve the problems. He might as well just have helped Madara and supported the infinite tsukuyomi. After all, the infinite tsukuyomi takes care of the bijuus, of chakara and of every living being.

P.S. I am not saying that Naruto's way is the best. He doesn't even really have a way. He has offered no concrete solutions for peace. Quite frankly, Madara's way was the best (if it wasn't for that stupid white zetsu transformation).

To sum this topic: Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Bijuus are often used as tools of war, their very presence causes war and conflicts to break out.

So did the byakugan.
So do forbidden jutsus.
So did the Uchiha Coup.
The presence of kekkei genkai in the mist village caused severe conflict in the days of the bloody mist.

You have no point here. The presence of all this other stuff causes conflict and war as well.

But guns aren't innocent living beings with personalities. Bijuus are.

I agree. The quote is just a perfect argument for people who say that they're living weapons. Which perfectly solos that particular debate. Lol

No more than naruto's?

Hum, let's see that: In one hand, we have naruto's ideals: The ideal that peace can be obtained by people truly understanding each other, which would lead to the essential respect between the different groups of society. In NV, we've seen that humans, unlike us, can change their opinions and views without too much struggle. Also, with naruto's godly TNJ, things get even easier.
So, with naruto's ideal, it's plausible and easier to achieve true peace in NV.

No, sasuke's: Don't care about what people think, wanna murder the only kages that were able to join forces, wanna rule everyone with his powers. Weak people can die, because for him, it doesn't matter. Also, he will rule it like a dictator.
Yeah, that leads to peace.
