It has been awhile since I've posted something but most of you know how I feel about the whole Otsutsuki bloodline.
The way I see it is that the Otsutsuki Clan functions in a binary way, one as Yin and one as Yang.
We see this from the Boruto movie which originally consisted with 3 people but was soon redacted to 2 people. One Yin, Momoshiki and the other Yang, Kinshiki.
Urashiki was most likely cut due to time restraint but his role does not fit anything else. He isn't restricted to Yin nor Yang, however his spec closely resemble that of Kinshi which could mean that should his partner be Kaguya, she would have the Yin affinity.
Now, whenever I try to figure out the Otsutsuki bloodline, I always stick close to these parallels.
Majority of discrepancies is due to Kishi's "retcon" - I say that because in some instance, he does have it figure it out, he just do not want to spoil it.
But these parallels normally stick to a thread of "yin" and "yang"
For one, Hagoromo and Hamura is Yin and Yang.
I'd say that Hagoromo is Yin and Hamura is Yang due to the parallels.
"but Hagoromo has the Yang seal and Hamura has the other"
- I believe that that is just the symbol of yin within the yang and vice versa.
If you take a look at the whole trend with Ashura and Indra, the older brother normally develops first (Yin) and the youngest would have to rely on others before reaching maturity (Yang)
Hagoromo is the older and Hamura is the youngest.
During the Kaguya confrontation, Hamura still does not have his tenseigan yet (possibly due to not spoiling the reveal for The Last movie, but I'll gloss over that)
Regardless on the reason why his tenseigan was not mature at that timeframe, the parallel is that Hamura is the youngest, which means he matures later.
As for the transcendence, Sasuke and Naruto aren't Ashura's and Indra's.
"WHY?"
Because the whole transcendence reached its conclusion with Madara and Hashirama.
Madara managed to capture the beasts (Kurama to exact) while Hashirama never needed anyone's help. Both of which completely breaking the parallels.
Madara needing help of his brother's eyes and aligning himself with the beast where Hashirama never needed anyone's help and didn't need the help of the chakra.
THE ULTIMATE REASON WHY SASUKE AND NARUTO AREN'T TRANSCENDENCE OF ASHURA AND INDRA
Madara actually managed to create the rinnegan thus ending the whole transendence thing.
The gedo mazou acts as the Yang, as it literally is the body of Kaguya ~ which Hamura kept.
Makes sense as he is the Yang and not Hagoromo.
While The tailed beasts are the chakra/life force of Kaguya/Juubi/godtree that roamed the Earth, Yin.
As for the Uzumaki debacle, I still believe that the Uzumaki are from Toneri's clan that split off during the moon wars. The same as the Hyugas.
Why?
Naruto's tech or the Uzumaki's fuinjutsu closely resemble's Toneri's chakra mode tech which we know coming from Hamura's side.
For Toneri, some may argue that his chakra mode is due to his tenseigan, while I am not convinced that Toneri had a completed tenseigan, it is still a tech from Hamura's clan.
Another reason why I say that Uzumaki is from Toneri's/Hamura's clan is due to the fact that they share the same root for techs. One is called Eight Trigrams Sealing technique (from the Uzumaki Clan) while the other shares the similar name Eight Trigrams Palms technique (from the Hyuga Clan)
While Hagoromo's clan consists of sage marking/tattoo (Hashirama's/Tsuande's forehead marking).
Hagoromo's "rinnegan seal" could just be a sage mode seal that is reminiscent to that of a byakugou.
Here, we see Kinishiki using chakra mode to create weapons, a Yang user.
While Momoshiki is a Yin user that uses doujutsu
From the Boruto movie, we can ascertain that chakra fruit is merely the lifeforce of a living being transformed by an Otsutsuki into a more edible source of power. They can also create Zetsus as shown by Kaguya and Black Zetsu to transform them into red pills (speculation)
Upon ingesting a Yang life form, a Yin user can elevate futher, gaining more of the opposite affinity.
This is a better design as it really capture the sage (yang) markings.
Madara and Obito somewhat exhibit this style but it isn't as noticeable as Momoshiki's.
Madara does gain more black color scheme but is hidden by the robe while Obito do get more but it is seen more as a garment unlike Momoshiki's which is a part of his skin. Reminiscent to that of Hashirama's and Naruto's markings.
As for the case of Naruto and Sasuke, they are not the transcendants of Ashura and Indra.
One, Naruto is the oldest of his family's generation (since he is an only child) and Sasuke is the youngest of his siblings as Itachi is older than he is. Therefore, they do not fit the the parallels.
Sasuke ending up having to subjugate and using all of the tailed beast where as Naruto had to fight him "alone" (techinally Kurama was there but he is basically becoming useless)
Boruto's jougan could be similar to Obito's dimensional kamui.
This could explain why his rasengan "vanishes" and why it couldnt be detected as it travels to a different dimension.
Similar to the filler arc's Hizashi Hyuga's eye (which is basically just Obito's sharingan but byakugan)
Susanoo are the mind and Avatar are the body (check where they are at in the position)
