Hinata has always puppy-dogged after Naruto, but Naruto has never paid attention to that- he wants a woman that is independent and strong, but still has that girly weakness to an extent so he can stand up and be a man for her.

While Naruto has acknowledged that Hinata has gotten stronger since the Chunin exams, he has noted the same about Sakura and seems to love her just as much. And as much as Hinata loves him, never once has he really acknowledged her love for him. He may have turned 8-tails when she was injured, but he would have done the same for anyone he cared about.

Sakura was the one hugging him and thanking him after that. Hinata stood back. Though Sakura DID admit that Hinata must really love Naruto while she was healing her, Sakura also seemed uncharacteristically depressed. (Well, maybe characteristic lately... haha...)



I can see one of two things happening; Hinata allowing a relationship for Sakura and Naruto to develop, acknowledge that she needs to move on for her own sake and find the one that adores her (my guess is Kiba). OR, as it seems Kishi is setting up for, Sasuke will come back as a good guy, and then it's SasuSaku/NaruHina and it's just like... too happy/predictable of a resolution. I dunno, it just seems very unbelievable if that happens given the character's relationships, but it seems that's what Kishi is heading for.

smh...it took nearly 600 chapters for hinata to give naruto medicine, get beat up by pain (minato saved the day so hinata even failed there), and half flirt with naruto in the middle of a war after gettin owned by zetsu......fanboy plz

btw NOWHERE in the entire manga does it say naruto is over sakura and NOWHERE in the entire manga does it say sakura doesnt love naruto

Like I said before Yamato wanted to say that Sakura loves Naruto,but Yamato at that time bearly know them,they long history and that Sakura was actualy in love with Sasuke,wich was comfirmed trough Sakura's false confession,wich also proved that Sakura doesn't have romantic feelings for Naruto.
Even the mostly naive Naruto saw trough her lie and rejected here,because he knows tha Sakura doesent love him and never will in a romantic way.

You say Naruto didnt pay attention for Hinata,that is not right in the academy years Naruto just didnt notice here,because Hinata didt have the courage to speak with him.
Later(Chunin exam) Naruto acknowledged her will and courage to change herselfe.
He started to care deeply about her wich was showen on more then one ocassion,because they share the same nindo ninja way.
Many people forget that Hinata and Naruto have the same determination to never give up,to stadly improve themselfe for others to protect them.

Tha along proves that Hinata is a strong person wich Naruto also stated.

Naruto had turned into the 8-tail mode when Hinata was stabbed.
Yes,it could have been someone else,but it was Hinata no one else,may i reminde you that at that time Jiraiya was dead,Kakashi was dead half of the village population was dead and Naruto was still alright,his emotions didnt overtaken him,but when he saw Hinata getting stabbed by Pain,Naruto couldnt contol his anger(he stated that himselfe)

Sakura hugging Naruto was just to thank him nothing else and Hinata isnt that type of girl who would do that(Sakura was like:Oh you saved the village maybe I love you now BS while she just watched Naruto almost getting killed)

And when Sakura was healing Hinata not only Sakura was depressed,the others too didnt loook so happy.
And Sakura was probebly sad because of Hinata ending up almost killed,because of her desperate love for Naruto wich Sakura can relate to(her desperate love for Sasuke)

And seriosly,after risking her life for Naruto I dont think Hinata will just give up especially when she swore to herselfe the she will walk side by side with him holding his hand.

Kiba adoring Hinata?!Please,if Kiba would have any kind of romantic feeling towards Hinata we would have seen it.
Just because they are in the same team doesnt mean the will end up with one another that also goes for the other teams.

Well, if you think about it, if Hinata didn't go down there when she did

1.Naruto would have died (gotten extracted).

2.So would Kakashi and others since Nagato wouldn't have revived anyone.

3.Naruto probably wouldn't have actually met Minato

it might not have been her intention, but Hinata's action wasn't as completely useless like most people seem to put it.

I'm pretty sure it's Kishimoto's call at this point in the manga. Both are contenders for Naruto's love. Sakura has the natural advantage by being more relevant and having more screen time + having a close personality to Kushina like Naruto's mother wished. However, Kishimoto may have lost a bit of interest in Sakura as hinted before (even though I personally would not want this to happen). As for Hinata..

Are you a little kid or something cant you see simple logic Hinata interfered,becuse Hinata interfeed Naruto didnt died,he met Minato,Minato has tightend the seal,Naruto defeted Pain,Naruto convinced Nagato to beleive in him,Nagato revived everyone he killed(Kakashi,Shizune and the other villagers)
And one other thing Naruto could have killed the other villagers,but he didnt there is no point i arguing about that.

Hinata admirad Naruto when they were kids.Why,because she know Naruto better then anyone else she reconised what kind of person Naruto really is.
Through years this admiration turned into much deeper feeling and finally resulting to falling in love with him.
There is no other interpretation.
Admiration often causes love.(common sense)
And when that love causes the one to riske they life for they beloved person then that can be called true love.
