Right now they face Doffy but the main Point of Luffy and Trafalgar forming an alliance was to defeat Kaido one of the four sea Kings

What do you think Kaido will Show?
How strong?
I think even Luffy in 4th Gear would have Trouble against him i mean Trafalgar said that Doflamingo is nothing compared to Kaido

Tell me your opinions?

Gear 4 would have trouble ? Gear 4 is going to be obliterated by Kaido lol. Luffy is nowhere near Yonko level and he won't be in quite a while v_v

Correction.

Current Gear 4 would lose to Kaidou.

Gear 4 has plenty of room for improvement and once improved will be vital to the fight against Kaidou.

This is the first time Luffy has used it in serious combat after all, its in the early phase and like Gears 2 and 3, will develop as the story progresses.

We don't know a lot about Kaido. We know he fought with Shanks crew to a stalemate and we know he makes DD crap his pants. To me that means he's got power well beyond Gear4th.
I expect him to be a haki beast with obscene physical power. Considering how close things have been against Doflamingo, I think a lot has to happen between now and then for Luffy to be able to compete, even with Laws help. Maybe the Zou arc will see Luffy learn more about DF awakening.

No, I think its to soon for Luffy to get his awakening.

Luffy just got the Gear 4 upgrade, I don't think Luffy has ever gotten two upgrades in one saga (I count Gears 2 and 3 as one upgrade as they were obtained at the same time). Remember that Haki was introduced with Enel, but Luffy didn't learn how to use it until the end of part 1 and into part 2.

Remember with Crocodile, Luffy had trouble against his thugs, but a few arcs later he was able to fight Crocodile and beat him the third time by the skin of his teeth.

Luffy vastly improves in between arcs, also Kaidou like many other villains may have some weakness to his abilities that Luffy will exploit.

Luffy got g2 and g3 in one arc

OT: Looking at Luffy's level right now he needs to get a lot stronger and be able to maintain g4 for much longer with no drawbacks if he wants to have a chance with Kaido

Like I said, I count them as one upgrade as he got them at the same time in one arc, you don't have two arcs in a row with power upgrades, or a power upgrade in one saga and in the following saga.

Typically there is a long break in between power upgrades.

Yeah, nah. Luffy's used it in serious combat against the animals during his two year training. He said to just survive there, he needed this to constantly beat them into submission and he said he was fighting them for two years straight. Gear 4 may improve, but it's not like Luffy is a toddler with it.

OT: Law has no intentions of squaring off against Kaido at all. That was a complete lie, his goal was Doflamingo. Gear 4 Luffy would get stomped by Kaido.

He practiced with Gear 2 and 3 off screen too, and he used it against various villains throughout part 1, and here in part 2 he has improved both Gear 2 and 3.

There is always room for vast improvement.

Also I would like to point out that the author wouldn't have introduce Gear 4 in this saga if it wasn't going to be important throughout it, in all fiction, the most recent upgrade is always the most heavily used and always tips the scales in the big battles.

Edit: Although, another possibility is that Kaidou's DF powers have a fundamental weakness that can be exploited, it wouldn't be the first time Luffy has had to figure out his enemies Achilles Heel.

This is just my humble opinion about what to expect from the fight against Kaido. If he were to ever be defeated, it would be because he was at a disadvantage. I imagine several of the Supernovas - Kidd, Apoo, Hawkins, Luffy, Law, etc, etc - would go against Kaido all at once. None of the Supernovas has, alone, anywhere near enough time to close the gap between them and said Yonko, which is why they need to take him down together.

However, if Luffy were to fight him alone at some point; I see him winning for one reason, and one reason alone. That is because Luffy had an overwhelming advantage over Kaido. How I imagine it going down, is something similar to when Luffy fought Enel. I can also see Kaido's personality being his downfall. From what I've gathered, he seems irrational and overall a person who needs anger management.

-Kaidou to be a seiryu dragon zoan
-Kaidou to look retarded(I think he is a monkey minkman)
-Kaidou to use his CoC in physical form like Zoro, Sanji and Shanks
-Kaidou to fight Luffy(beat him in their fight), Sabo, Law, Drake, Zoro and Sanji

I think before Kaido we are going to see SH getting another power up in respect of strength & may be training.Luffy can go to dragon or may be in wano kingdom.they need more battle experience in new world. As we see every time luffy fight some bigshot he fight alot to reach upto them & so he needs some people to take care of army which helps him to reach villain with full capacity.
In this arc he first fight with warriors, then army of DD.Also carry law to 4th level. So his power decrease when he reach to DD

Lol at the people acting like Luffy wont improve G4 thats BS, it has some serious weaknesses that need to be fixed.

Anyways right now, Luffy isn't even close to ready to deal with someone like a Yonko, but one of the good things about Luffy is the fact that he gets stronger with each island. I don't expect much from Zou, but I expect the Wano arc to be kind of like an arc for Luffy and Allies to hone their skills, they will train with the Samurai(especially Zoro) and try to learn new techniques and in Luffys case improve his Haki and improve his G4. Of course, they won't perfect anything though.

The improvements will Put him in the same league as the Yonko FMs, of course that wont be enough for a solo but that's what the alliance is for. And its not like he needs to be at Yonko + level right now anyway, he will get there by EOS.

Also I'm not sure what to expect from Kaido, all I know is that he is very likely to have a Zoan, and he could be any one of those. He will be very strong, in fact so strong that its probably going to take a 3 or 4 way alliance between Luffy, Law, Drake, and Moriah to win. And even still it'll be maybe because of some weakness.

Other than the time skip and flashbacks, we never see the Straw Hats train so I doubt we have another training break. We didn't even see Luffy train for Gears 2 and 3, so he trains off screen.

Whats crazy to me is people are talking like Luffy is going to take down a a Yonko and Kaido at that soon. Kaido is the strongest Zoan in the verse most likely. He probably has awakened his devil fruit and is a freaking monster. I mean for god sake his name alone makes a powerful enemy like DD shit his pants from fear. Luffy doesn't need to fight a Yonko hes not in their league yet. What people seem to forget though is Yonkos have huge crews. Luffy can make his way up to Kaido by getting stronger by fighting his underlings. I can see the SH working their way up the Kadio ladder that way. And maybe even a X-Drake crew vs the SH crew at some point.
