Having my real body training elsewhere, I decide to send out a shadow clone of myself in order to train myself further in the art of wind release. I patiently await the arrival of my acquaintance.
Hello there! My name is Alexander, Alexander Akimichi. It is a pleasure to meet you. Yes, I was informed by someone of the nature of your technique. It really caught my attention. In fact, I am currently training with him right now, he goes by the name of Jio. And I say "currently" because this isn't actually me. In fact, this is only a shadow clone of my former self. Please don't be mad or offended though, I just simply couldn't be at two places at the same time, ya know? =}Hey there..Hard? (really odd yet nice name there). I'm Elyon, you said you wanted a trademark move of mine?
Pros:Understandable sir, its only physically impossible to be omnipresent. The move you want,
(Kenjutsu/Fuuton: Katto no Arashi) -Sword Style/Wind Release: Storm of Cuts
Rank: B
Type: Defensive/Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user positions himself , then after forming a one handed hand sign he forms a slight whirlwind around him using his Fuuton chakra he throws his sword counter clockwise, allowing it to ride the currents it spins rapidly while revolving around the user 6-8 times. During these revolutions the sword is granted immense Fuuton aided cutting power, capable of slicing Doton techniques B ranked and below clean in two, after which the user will simply snatch it from the air. The sword itself moves so fast it is capable of repelling thrown weapons and up to medium sized objects. It can't be tracked by normal eye and the user may appear to 'repel' objects within 5 feet of the his position. During the jutsu the user has no access to the sword but can freely move around allowing the vortex to follow keeping the user in the eye at all times. The user is free to mold chakra can also perform this while airborne as he falls.

Give me a quick analysis on the technique. Pros? Cons? Questions?
Pros:
Cons:
- The first defensive use, the "Y" pose is especially useful against large, sudden attacks and without the need for handseals is even more dependable.
- With the cutting/shredding wind emanating from the body it can be used to remove certain objects on the body I presume?(more of a statement than a question, you can answer me if I'm wrong though).
- Three bladed objects? Very, very good. With a quick placement of three kunais, knives, swords etc a near instantaneous defense can be made. And it can also be used to protect allies and summons. (In fact, I will be using this in an ongoing fight right now!)
- Being able to shred underneath my feet as well is a very good advantage, especially against those Earth Pillars some people like to use. And any other earth protruding technique as a matter of fact.
- The net formation can be effectively used against broad spanning jutsu. Like Chidori Senbon which can span a wide range just by being flung at different angles. Or even to shred paper bombs and other ninja tools before they can reach the user.
Question(s):
- Such a shame it only reaches Mid ranged. But its only fair I guess.
- What if one of the bladed objects are removed?
- Can I perform hand seals while the jutsu is active, say an 11 hand seal technique in preparation for when the technique subsides?
- The ground shredding ability of the Pyramid side, will it damage mine or my allies' toes?
None of the three methods allow you to surround yourself with wind, not ON your body anyways. For example the shield method doesn't cause wind to form around you, it utilizes your three pointed posture as a means of execution to release the triangular shield out in front of you, however not being in contact with your body. This in turn is quite good because if someone uses a fire technique near your location to ignite the wind, you won't be harmed instantly, however still quite fast. The closest thing to surrounding your body would be to place the three bladed objects from the pyramid method as close as possible, thus creating a tight defense. With the cutting/shredding wind emanating from the body it can be used to remove certain objects on the body I presume?(more of a statement than a question, you can answer me if I'm wrong though).
The technique would end. Think of this technique as if it were elastic or something similar in nature. If it stretches too far out of shape, it will snap and break, thus disperse. What if one of the bladed objects are removed?
Only in methods that allow it. For example, its stated in the shield formation that you would be unable to perform other techniques. However, if used for the pyramid or net, after the technique "activates" yes, you'd be able to perform other techniques. Can I perform hand seals while the jutsu is active, say an 11 hand seal technique in preparation for when the technique subsides?
You have the ability to choose whether or not to activate the shredding on the ground, so you are also able to manipulate certain areas to avoid stuff like that from happening. In short; No.The ground shredding ability of the Pyramid side, will it damage mine or my allies' toes?
