It was on his fourth failure to resurface
that Tobirama Senju, the second hokage knew he would
not be coming up. All his water techniques are of no use
against his opponent’s immovable earth defenses, especially
since his adversary, the 2nd Tshuchikage controls the earth
affinity, the natural weakness of water, his trademark nature.
He did the only thing he could think of doing. With a burst
of speed, he sped downwards to the dark bottom
of the lake. The sudden switch in direction of him and his
water shield took Mu off guard. Since his half-mile pile up on
earth was only supported on the water shield’s opposing
force, the mass earth immediately fell in to the water, like
a sinking ship falling slowly in to its demise.
Inside the water, Tobirama tried to smile. The earth was
in his element now and as he sucked in every bit of oxygen
from the water, he let it loose with an enormous explosion,
shaking the very foundations of the earth.
“Water Release: Great Explosion of the Water God!”
Everything in the lake, including the life forms was thrown
onto the sky a kilometer high. Mu sought refuge behind a
hastily made but no doubt tough wall of earth, and was not
surprise to see that it was about to be breached by the
massive combined force of the earth and water. He braced
himself and formed 10 seals in the space of a second.
What is this jutsu going to be!?
A few kilometers, hidden in safety and guarded by a clone
of Tobirama Senju were the elderly fire daimyo. He had been
critically injured by a crushing blow of earth, and he felt his
soul straining to leave his body. His senses were near useless;
he was in an agony unparalleled by any other, the salt in the
soil from the second Tchuchikage that lodged in his skin eating
away his insides. He could still feel the massive trembling of
the earth, of the battle raging on close by. He could almost
not stand the thought of it…the Tshuchikage was about to
destroy another life…the man with the calming voice and long hair,
the man who tried to rescue him...
As he felt his life ebbing away, he flashbacked on all the
things he did in his life…the wrong decisions, the war, his pride
and his family.
