Kabuto said that the members of the Uzumaki clan have red hair.Then we can say that Gaara too belongs to the Uzumaki bloodline.
But,when the One-Tailed was extracted by the Akatsuki from Gaara,he died;whereas Uzumaki Kushina survived the extraction process of the Nine-Tails.
How come Kushina survived when Gaara didn't??

Not sure how many times this has been asked and answered already.

Gaara is not an Uzumaki. A primary characteristic of the Uzumaki clan is their BRIGHT red hair. This does not mean that every redheaded character is an Uzumaki. There are plenty of redheads in the series that are not Uzumaki descendants.

Ugh, that's like saying just because the guy next to you has black hair he's related to you. Red hair is the dominant gene in the Uzumaki clan, but that doesn't mean it's inherited by only Uzumaki. Gaara is the son of the Yondaime Kazekage and Karura (Who isn't an Uzumaki).
