Excavation Site

Neighbor to the Sanctuary of the Sun, the Excavation Site was claimed by the Great Mother Cult and was critically important to their operations. At one point the Necromancer Phetra visited almost daily, overseeing their work as they hollowed out the mines of whatever it was they were looking for. Whatever the cultists sought to extract from the land here is unclear, but clearly they found it. Their operations have since ceased, leaving nothing but a gigantic pit surrounded by barren wasteland. Numerous caves and holes spread throughout it, leading to a massive underground cave system.

The Excavation Site is a sacred landmark in Tobusekai and as such it cannot be claimed, conquered, or colonized by foreign powers.

Korra would arrive at the landmark that Sado had sent her. Upon arriving Korra would notice the land would be wasteland filled with holes and caves system with a lot of members of the cult moving around the landmark. Noticing how many people seem to be in the landmark Korra uses her passive paper skills to cause the paper sheets throughout her body to move and change color to blend into the environment the entire time she is in the landmark so no one will notice her.

Origami Rokkaku āto: Kōgaku Ken) Origami Hex Arts: Optical Fist
Type: Supplementary
Rank: E
Range: Self
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: A basic but useful jutsu developed for using Origami Hex Art styles into freeform tai and for tricking opponents.
The user will use their passive abilites to control paper and have the paper sheets that make up their body start changing color and move in wild patterns creating an optical illusion. The user can control it and make it appear to opponets in close to even long range that they are in one spot when they really are not. In tai uses this becomes helpful as the user can make it appear to the opponent that the user is punching with their left when in reality they are with their right. The same can be done with running right but really running left making to where the opponent might aim their jutsu in a different direction. Doujutsu and chakra sensors would be able to get pass this but to the naked eye the optical illusion would be useful against. The user must always post what way they are offsetting the opponents sight/using the optical illusion for. This can only be used for basic movements like tai and moving not with jutsus being released and such.
Note: Since using passive paper control jutsu needs to be posted as a reference when the user starts using.
Note: Must know Origami Hex Arts

As she blends into the area, Korra would move around stealthy and follow the cultist to see what they were doing. She would follow a group of cultist that was heading to a cave that seems to be part of their excavation site. Korra would keep a distance so that she wouldn't touch them physically but stay close enough so she can hear their convo. As she listens in she hears them talking about finding an artifact that their cult is planning on using to take over the world. Knowing this would potentially get in the way of everybody. As Korra continues following them into the cave they would get into a giant room within the earth that was giant and had a lot of people with ninja tech digging up the site. Korra would note the ninja tech the cultist are using as it seems more advanced than what was said about them before. As Korra notes this she notices a person walk in that all the cultist stopped to show respect. Korra would use her paper skills to create wings and fly closer to the crowd and land at a ledge above them while still staying blend in. While she sits there she hears someone say they are Phetra and Korra notes that for Sado. Korra would listen to this Phetra as they talked about bringing their cult to the forefront. They would start talking about an ancient relic that is being dugged up and how it is related to the undead. To Korra, it seems like this relic/artifact is probably the reason for the undead Sado was talking about. Korra would take out her phone but uses her paper sheets that are blending her in to also blend in the paper. Korra would send Sado a text of all the info she has heard.as well as take pictures of the head person and the scientific tools they are using.

While the cultist still listens to Phetra Korra would stealthily leave the cave again while noting the entrance and exit of the cave and dig site. Korra would also take pictures of the cultist so that the SIn Village would know what they look like. After sending all the info to Sado, Korra would have finished the mission. She heads back to the Port to regain herself.

The pharaoh arrives in the adjacent landmark from the Sanctuary of the Sun, getting a lay of the land, noting the abundance of holes and tunnel entrances. They were not natural, someone or some group of people had created them. Waiting beside a large boulder, he ponders the next course of action, wondering if there was any connection between the infection that had spread throughout the land and the Necromancers he fought some time ago.

Coming from here "Ozymandias," Solomon spoke softly as he strode toward the Egyptian King. "Some time has passed."

The King of Kings. It has been some time... Goetia spoke from within Solomon's conscience; and although Ozymandias wouldn't hear him, Solomon was sure to relay the message. "Goetia sends his best. He was fond of you, after all." Solomon laughed slightly, a hand awkwardly running through the strands of long white hair that loosely fell over his face for a moment.

The sight of the King of Magic was refreshing, if nothing else. Ozymandias noticed the absence of Solomon's great familiar, Goetia, but he did not pay it any mind. It was evident from the words uttered by the ancient king that the two were still together. "Hmph. My regards to your friend as well." The pharaoh responded, a small smile on his lips. It had indeed been some time since the emergence of Tiamat, the last time the pharaoh was with the two. "I assume you are aware of the events that have transpired since Tiamat's disappearance?" he inquired, curious if Solomon had any knowledge of the illness plaguing the land. Ozymandias knew that it came from the Sea of Life which contaminated the Hokubu Ocean, but as for a cure, or how to at least halt its progression, he was without any idea.

"I have. The second coming of the Red Fever is rather interesting. It had first manifested in 659 in Chungsu..." He could recall the first manifestation of the pestilence with perfect clarity; it had been eerily reminiscent of the Freeze from Tobusekai in the fourth century. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, had died during the first wave. It depleted the Freehold of its manpower and economic primacy, and opened the door to the Time of Troubles which saw to the swift end of the Hangurian Golden Age. "It is a disease that, when it first appeared centuries ago, wiped out much of the Freehold. Physicians then, during their Golden Age, were powerless to stop it."

The mention of this being the second time the virus had appeared in the world piqued Ozymandias' curiosity. Assuming that this virus was one which originated from Tiamat's essence, then that would mean she had already reappeared within the last century, which was not possible. At least, to his knowledge. "This strain of the virus originates from the Sea of Life which contaminates the Hokubu Ocean. I doubt that finding a cure will come easily, but perhaps there is something that will lead to one within the tunnels. No doubt, this is the work of Tiamat's worshippers." The pharaoh mused, ready for another chance to rid the world of the filth that was the Great Mother Cult. "Traversing caves built by vermin at the behest of vermin...it is unbecoming of one such as myself, but it is necessary. You shall accompany me, King of Magic." Ozymandias beckoned, his proposal more of a statement than a request.

This begins the start of a mission
Storyboard Elements: Investigate the history of a landmark (3)
Custom Elements: Investigate the Great Mother Cult's Excavation project (3)

Summary: Ozymandias and Solomon investigate the Excavation Site, looking for clues as to what the Great Mother Cult had been looking for in Arc 9.

"Of course, King of Kings." The Mage King bowed his head slightly. He was accustomed to serving kings by now. Having spent the better half of the fourth century serving the various Nobunaga warlords during the Conquest of the Three Unifiers. "Before us is one of the largest excavations in history. Before, when I was King of Israel, this land was lush and an extension of the Sun Sanctuary. Life here was, at its height, bountiful. Likely an extension of the ambient physical energies that Tiamat's sealed body would exude in the millennia following Marduk's war." The history the Mage King was reciting wasn't commonly known; in fact, much of it had been lost to the world at large following the razing of Chungsu in 804. The Mage King motioned forward, beckoning for Ozymandias to follow; each step forward brought him closer to the abyssal pit that had been dug by the Great Mother Cult. "But, almost ironically, the Great Mother Cult's actions here have drained the life from the land...." He knelt down, taking a handful of dry earth into his palm. "What was their purpose here? We know that their plan was to release Tiamat by destroying the Sun and Moon Shrines. But what, here, were they looking for?" It was a question of paramount importance. The Great Mother Cult had all but disbanded now following Tiamat's defeat last year. Most of the cultists were killed by bounty hunters while others went into hiding, living in Last Bastion and in small villages on the mainland. Whether the organization itself had met its demise following the failure of their plan, or if the cultists had simply gone into hiding had been entirely unclear.

Solomon activated his Byakugan, the trademark of his bloodline. His normally colorful eyes suddenly shifted toward the trademark white irides of the Byakugan. "You see, this is not a single hole...." His voice trailed off momentarily as his Byakugan focused on the terrain. With his telescopic sight Solomon could pick up on two important traits of the excavation site. The first, and arguably the least interesting of the two, was the intricate cave network that sprawled throughout the terrain. The tunnels penetrated deep into the earth, looking much like an ant's sprawling network as it continued down. "It is a cavern network. A sprawling network at that. And if I look carefully I can even see a numerous archaeological tool sets. They weren't just digging..." His voice faded yet again, thinking of the possibilities of what the Great Mother Cult had been looking for. They were sifting, my King. It was Goetia's turn to speak, his voice sounding within the confines of the Human Order Correction Ritual Seal. And yet the more Solomon focused the more he could see the truth in Goetia's words. The Great Mother Cult had come here to dig, and to sift through the dirt and sands for something.

(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye (Passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 (+5 per turn to keep active)
Damage: N/A
Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.

To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions, and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop their unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.

Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Sannin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon one month having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.
"Ozymandias." Solomon's voice grew more serious as his eyes focused in on the second characteristic of the pit. "If you can sense it, then you will feel the trace radiating chakra that was left behind." It was the chakra that remained in the pit that alarmed Solomon. It was eerily reminiscent to the stone that he had encountered once before nearly three hundred years ago in Chungsu. A stone that had the power to suppress artificial life. "I have seen this before." Before he allowed a chance to respond Solomon took a step back from the edge of the pit. Suddenly the signet ring on his left thumb illuminated, transforming itself into the Staff of Solomon; the Rings of Solomon danced above it, rotating around the Throne of Light in a peaceful atomic formation. Though they too would soon glow as Solomon called upon a demon spirit to serve. They were, after all, in former enemy territory. "I certainly hope you don't mind guests, King of Kings. But I am not a man that sallies forth unless I know I can win." A flash of white light would pulse outward form the top of the staff. Soon a visage of an unknown ancient Uchiha would appear; having perished sometime ago on the mainland, it was a spirit plenty powerful for Solomon's intentions. The powerful Uchiha would manifest with his Sharingan already activated. And now, bound to King Solomon, the spirit would loyally ascend it to the Eternal Mangekou Sharingan. "Well, Ozymandias, shall we descend?"

( Soromon no Inkan ) - Seal of Solomon
Type: Artifact
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 40 per active ability use (-10 per turn)
Damage: 100 damage for Seal Form
Description: The Seal of Solomon is an artifact of unknown origin, rumored to be from a time and place far from our own. Due to its powers over the dead, the Seal of Solomon gained a reputation of a necromancer's greatest dream, the ability to govern the souls of the dead in a way both similar and unlike that of Edo Tensei. Despite it's name, the Seal of Solomon does not refer to a written script, but a signet atop a ring. Usually worn on the thumb as a singular, this ring is capable of passively changing it's form, depending on the ability it utilizes. When worn, the user becomes capable of utilizing any and all spiritual techniques without need for seal, including but limited to Genjutsu and Yin Release as well as grants a complete spiritual immunity to techniques of A rank and lower, including damage and side effects. Souls summoned by the Seal of Solomon remain loyal to the user regardless of previous association and attachment, being incapable of being swayed by Yin techniques or other abilities to break this bond.

The Seal of Solomon has it's own set of active abilities unlike the passive ones listed above, each attached to a different form the ring is capable of taking. When in Staff Form, the Seal allows the user to summon demons from the past to do his bidding in ways. Unlike Edo tensei, these demons exist as spiritual entities only and can make use of any Spiritual technique the user or the demon itself had in its life with their previous health pool and chakra pool in place. Due to having no physical body, they are immune to physical damage These demons are the souls of anyone defeated within the last 2 pages of the Battle Arena if used there and anyone defeated within the last 3 Ninja World arcs. This allows him to summon demonic versions of previous battlers should he wish it - even if they have yet to die, drawing the demonic energy from them. These entities cannot be sealed nor absorbed by abilities or dissipated by Yin-Yang based abilities. When in the Ten Rings Form, the user is capable of summoning the prince of demons named Asmodeus. Asmodeus, possessing the user, grants heightened demonic and spiritual abilities, shown in the form of re glowing eyes and tattoos. With a sigil appearing across the user's torso, the user's spiritual abilities spike to a point where he is capable of affecting this same energy within opponents via contact; by touching their chest and head simultaneously, the user is capable of sealing the demons within them, purifying their soul and preventing use of any form of energy for 5 turns. This essentially allows him to bend their ability to use energy as he purifies the soul. While in use, the user becomes immune to Yin based techniques though his susceptibility to Yang ones spikes, causing him to take doubled damage from them in this while in use. Other spiritual based modes cannot be in use while this one is. When in actual Seal Form, the user is capable of forming bonds with demons, gaining access to their power in the form of powerful scripts that deal high damage to foes by releasing this demonic energy as bursts of glowing red-gold energy. The user can manipulate this energy once every 5 turns to create blasts of energy with a strength to any elemental nature it meets. However, because of this power, use of this prevents the Seal of Solomon's abilities from working for the same time it takes to reuse this ability, 5 turns. During this time, any and all of the Seal's abilities become defunct and it becomes just a ring.
Note: Use of Sealing Form can only be used once every 5 turns, preventing the user from using any other form in that time.
Note: Use of the Ten Rings Form can only be done 3 times in total, with a 4 time cooldown period.
( Doujutsu: Sharingan ) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye (Passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 - 30 ( -5 per turn for 1T and 2T, 10 per turn to keep active for 3T )
Damage: N/A
Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.
( Doujutsu: Eien no Mangekyou Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 70 ( -20 per turn to keep active )
Damage: N/A
Description: The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan literally meaning " Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye", is the final step in the evolutionary state of the Sharingan. While Mangekyo Sharingan is but an imperfect Dojutsu, unable to sustain and keep its own power, weakening with each use, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan brings control and balance to the power wielded. By merging the users own MS with that of his sibling, the use is able to awaken the EMS. The EMS grants the user the same abilities granted by MS but to unsurpassed levels. While granting the user the ability to perceive the world with increadible insight, it also grants the user the ability to see through S-Rank visual illusions and track the movement speed of almost anything, perfecting the already amazing abilities of the standard MS, like casting Genjutsu without the need for handseals as long as a line of sight to the target is available. A unique feat however, is that once the user awakens EMS, he loses access to his normal MS, transitioning from 3T form to EMS directly. While MS damages the user as time passes and severely tires and drains the user as its used, the EMS doesn't. The user can keep it active without losing his eyesight or damaging himself and can use the normal MS techniques with no activation reduction or drawbacks. Its true that the chakra cost is higher, but the user will feel little to no effect in his stamina and energy. Through his EMS, Madara gained the ability to control Tailed Beasts by forcefully using his sharingan genjutsu/mind manipulation abilities to take control of the Bijuu and temporarily sever its connection to the host. If the Jinchuriki is in normal form or entering one of the transformations, it's blocked from transforming for 3 turns. If it's in incomplete form, it's forced back into normal form and left unable to access his bijuu for 3 turns and if its in complete form, the user gains control over the bijuu, manipulating its movements/actions completely for 2 turns or until the complete form ends (whatever comes first), leaving the host unable to acess his bijuu for 3 turns.
Note: Only usable by bios with EMS after meeting the necessary requirements.
Note: User needs to have activated his 3T Sharingan beforehand
Note: Once activated, lasts 10 turns per use and once the user has held the ability for 4 months, can be done passively, with no move cost.
Note: Using MS techniques don't reduce the activation time.
Note: Controlling a Bijuu is an exclusive ability of Madara Uchiha and can only be done once per battle. Once the control ends, the EMS reverts back to a 3T Sharingan. If the control is done on a complete form Jinchuriki, then the user can't do any other technique while controlling the enemy.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: While active, as long as a clear line of sight and the range is respected, the user can cast normal non-Doujutsu Genjutsu without the need for handseals. However, Doujutsu illusions still require eye contact (if feasible) or their own requirements; this ability only affects regular Genjutsu.

The King of Magic's knowledge was impressive, perhaps there would come a time in the future where Ozymandias could fill himself in on this land's history, for his time as a ruler was largely confined to the borders of his own lands which were far from here. He followed Solomon onward. Though his suspicion needed not the verbal confirmation, the pharaoh was pleased nonetheless that the expedition to be undertaken would prove fruitful. Nodding in agreement with Solomon, he observed the transformation of the ring on Solomon's finger into a staff, and the evocation of a being no larger than either of the two kings, its eyes bearing the signature patterns of the Uchiha Dōjutsu. The pharaoh grins, "Heh, I shall allow it. You are a king, and I as a fellow ruler respect your judgement.", reassuring Solomon. Holding out his right arm, he calls the crook on his back to hand through the seal placed on it, gripping it securely. "Onward.", the pharaoh beckons.

(Fūinjutsu: Chikai) – Sealing Technique: Oathbound Insignia (Passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: N/A (Short – Long)
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The Oathbound Insignia is a seal with supplementary purpose, and is designed to be utilised in tandem with one’s weapons or tools. The seal can be placed on any piece of equipment or item of the user’s, or even ones they do not own, provided they make physical contact with said object. Once placed, the seal creates an invisible, form-fitting barrier on the object which is able to exert directional force and pressure on it, similarly to that of Infinite Embraces. This allows for the weapon to be controlled in a manner visually similar to that of the Lightning Blades Levitation, but through manipulation of a barrier, rather than an infusion of elemental chakra. This method of control only requires the user's thought, and does not cost a move slot to utilise in any way. This saves the user the trouble of having to physically reach for their weapon, and makes retrieval from a holster or from afar much easier. The user possesses total control over the behaviour of movement through the barrier, able to freely manipulate a marked object as they see fit. The speed at which a marked object can move via the barrier is 1.5x the user’s base speed at maximum, and always moves at this speed unless otherwise stated, allowing for swift recovery of the object. The user is able to mark their weapons and tools, but it must be stated in the user’s biography, otherwise one must manually place the seals during battle or when the situation allows. Only three objects can be marked at any given time, living targets cannot have this seal applied to them.

The kings march onward into the tunnel entrance, the sun's fading light replaced by the faintly flickering torches which illuminated the artificial tunnels. As they progressed further into the cave network, the sound of water droplets hitting the stone floor replaced the howl of the wind which could be heard closer to its entrance. With his Byakugan activated, Solomon directed them when the path came to a fork, though Ozymandias could not help the slightly feeling that the decisions were arbitrary. Nevertheless, he pressed onward with the King of Magic, his instinct outweighed by his determination to get the bottom of the matter at hand.

The immediate descent was brief, leading the pair only fifty meters down into the earth. It wasn't until Ozymandias and Solomon reached the entrance to the cave system that the true magnitude and depth of the man-made tunnels had become clear; the only sounds that filled the now slow ramp descent were that of the torches, crackling gently along the walls, their gentle footsteps, and the occasional droplet of water. Footprints littered the cavern pathways, likely left behind by the hundreds of cultists that had been stationed here. Charged with the responsibility of digging, extending the intricate caverns that sprawled downward seemingly into infinity. And yet, peculiarly, in various locations along the walls of the caves deep markings could be spotted. Pickaxes that struck the earth with more intent, focused on a specific location. Solomon ran his hands along the walls, closing his eyes to appreciate the particular grooves and crevices that had been dug out at those locations. "Do you see these markings, Ozymandias?" Solomon motioned toward the wall, his Byakugan narrowed as pointed at the crevice. Most who would venture down below would find nothing of interest in the complex mine system. It took a particularly trained eye to uncover the mysteries it held; but behind each crevice was were bone shaped markings. Behind the Mage King stood the Uchiha he had summoned, passively standing watch and observing the cave system with his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

"If you look carefully, you can see hundreds like this. They had pulled something out of the walls of the cavern. Hundreds of them." It was true. The bones, or artifacts, had been pulled from the walls of the cavern in huge numbers. The frequency having seemingly increased as they went deeper and deeper into the cave system. Yet Solomon could sense no chakra aside from Ozymandias's and the Uchiha's. Whatever they had taken from the cave, any sign of it was gone. "It all seems empty. Even my Byakugan cannot make out any other signs of whatever was excavated from their mines. But..." Suddenly the Mage King paused. Within the Human Order Seal Goetia spoke, his voice flooded with urgency. King Solomon, do you sense it? It is the same artifact as the meteorite that was taken from the Grand Library. I would never forget that dreaded chakra pulsations... Indeed the Mage King could feel it, though much deeper within the cave system. And it had largely become a trace residue of chakra that had been emitted long ago, weeks if not months. No doubt it was the meteorite that had fallen three centuries ago, or at the very least something similar to it. It was one of the Three Calamities that Solomon would never forget. An event that would see to the downfall of the Hangurian Freehold.

"Long ago, King Ozymandias, a meteorite once pierced the heavens and crashed on the mainland. A contingent of Black Ones, the Hangurian Special Forces of old, had quickly retrieved it and stored it in the Grand Library. It was there that the meteorite was stored until the infamous year 804, when the Nine Tails devastated the capital and effectively ended an empire that had stood for over five centuries." Solomon paused, catching his breath, while motioning for Ozymandias to follow deeper into the cave. His stride hastened the further they went. "This might be the mystery we need to uncover to understand the Voice and his intentions."

The longer the kings walked, the more the feeling grew within Ozymandias' chest that they would not find any answers to the mystery of the virus. At least, not any direct ones. He noted the King of Magic's interest in the carvings on the cave walls, though he said nothing of it. Though dim the light of the torches was, he was able to make out the marks. They did not appear to be anything resembling inscriptions, but they were intentionally made. They were observable throughout much of the tunnels, which would no doubt lead one to question whether or not they were simply walking in circles, or retreading ground they had already covered. Where size was concerned, this network of underground passageways resembled those beneath the great temples in Egypt, where the bodies of the dead resided. To compare them in any other way was an insult to the constructions of his rule, and those of his predecessors before him.

"Hm?" the pharaoh grunted questioningly, in response to the hesitation in Solomon's words. He held pace with the King of Magic, the resurrected Uchiha following closely behind the two monarchs. The mention of the Voice closely after the brief recount of this land's history led Ozymandias to believe that it was connected to the Goddess of Life. The idea that the objects dug for in the walls, this meteorite, and Tiamat, were connected was not entirely outside the realm of reason, and the pharaoh carried knowledge of things far more bizarre than that. Unsure as he was of the extent of Solomon's knowledge on the meteorite, Ozymandias was confident that he knew more of it than the mere fact that it was such a thing. "I assume this meteorite is elsewhere now, and that you search for other objects of great power which are related to it.", the pharaoh mused. "What power does this meteorite hold that that wretched, haggard man and his equally detestable followers would seek to possess it?" he asked, following the King of Magic deeper into the tunnels.

"The meteorite is not directly connected to the Primordial Goddess of Life; I am certain of that much." A being that lacked chakra, or the concept of chakra at all, would never be influenced by the meteorite, an object that seemingly disrupts carefully and artificially balanced chakra through its radiation. "All our journey has brought us is more questions, Ozymandias; what did the cult find here? And why was an artifact, that had seemingly been lost in the great razing of Chungsu a decade ago, brought here?" The questions vexed the Mage King, and unfortunately the answer was not readily available. "I think it is safe to say that whatever the cult was here for, they did find it. Other than the residue left behind by that meteorite, there isn't really anything here."

He turned back toward Ozymandias after surveying the surrounding area one last time. "The meteorite holds the power to disrupt any life created from chakra. Its radiation seemingly pulls chakra from it." Solomon could feel Goetia's anger within him, furious that his body, crafted by Solomon himself, had fallen prey to such a foreign object. Even after three hundred years the Demon God King still was angered by it. "I must visit the the Tsumikage in the mainland, before this virus grows into too much of a threat. Let us ascend, King of Kings.

End of mission.

It seemed as though Solomon was as much in the dark as the pharaoh in regards to the intentions of the cult, and what they had uncovered in these caves. But with this, they were now on the trail of the cult. Nodding in response to Solomon, Ozymandias walks back the way he came with the King of Magic. They carried themselves with some urgency, making to leave the caves faster than they had gone inward. All the while, Ozymandias pondered on the mysterious meteorite, which possessed the power to drain and interfere with that which is based in chakra. Its nature beyond this, he could not guess.

Reaching the mouth of the cave's entrance, Ozymandias turned to Solomon. "I suppose this is where we part ways once again, King of Magic. May Horus guide you, and ensure safe travels." the pharaoh bid the King of Magic farewell, placing his crook securely on his back. Though he did not know when his path would cross with Solomon again, he was sure that the day would eventually come.

Lucifer arrived at the excavation site and his eyes widened slightly in surprise, the area seemed to have been torn apart, fragmented machinery laid around the terrain, man made it seemed. What had they been doing here, were they looking for something, the mother’s presence was strong here too, but Lucifer felt at least one other very concentrated powerful lifeforce who was this person? Lucifer walked across the ground, letting his wings furl to his back as he stepped across the broken earth, it felt unstable and hollow, he had never seen such destruction, what was it all for. Perhaps this strange lifeforce he felt would have answers, but how would he get to him? This place had become a maze of tunnels, travelling through them was a daunting task as they felt very unstable as though they could collapse around him at any time.

Nevertheless Lucifer would press on, he had to have answers especially about this place, the whole area he had travelled to get here felt as though they were touched by the mother in some way, but they were destroyed, nothing remained standing across most of the areas and this was very unlikely to be some natural disaster. This area was very much a focal point of what seemed to be man made destruction, it was saddening to Lucifer to see the bounty the mother had provided for them sullied like this.

The sight of a winged figure, bearing horns and clawed hands, caught the immediate attention of Ozymandias. Struggling somewhat to get to his feet, his condition having worsened due to the virus, he walks slowly towards the angelic one. His slightly bloodshot eyes narrowed on the stranger, Ozymandias didn't know what to expect due to their strange appearance. "You...who are you?"

"My name is Lucifer. Who are you human, are you alone in this land? What happened here?" Lucifer replied calmly and slowly to the man in front of him, he was dressed richly, and his skin had a darker coloration to it, though that was harder to notice given the red blotchy damage.

It seemed that this man was also infected by the same disease that the others had, it was impressive almost that it seemed to have travelled whole countries, what was happening to the humans, was this truly some kind of punishment or just a cruel twist of fate, either way the mother was involved somehow, Lucifer needed to know more, perhaps this human, so close to the mothers presence, would know more.

The man called him a human, which suggested to the pharaoh that he wasn't one himself. Peculiar, though Ozymandias would address the man's more immediate questions. "My name is Ozymandias. I was investigating the presence of a cult in this land. They are likely connected to this virus, which you have undoubtedly observed, and its cause." The pharaoh would allow the man's words to speak for themselves, he did not want to risk confrontation in his current state.

A cult you say, that's interesting, very interesting. I am also tracking the virus yes, though it seems to not effect me I can only hazard a guess as to why that's the case. You seem to be unwell, Ozymandias, this virus is everywhere, would you care to allow me to help your investigation? We have a mutual goal in discovering what is happening here.

Lucifer said this quite casually, he had no reason to distrust the human, was it a cult that were responsible for this sickness, if so what connection did they have to the mother. Were they truly acting using her power somehow, it was hard to imagine that was possible, unless they too were her children. Perhaps they were, or perhaps they were simply frauds and pretenders, thieves of her divine glory.

He didn't notice until Lucifer pointed it out, but Ozymandias realised that there was truth in his words. The man was visibly unaffected by the virus, and showed no signs of exhaustion or otherwise. There was certainly more to him than met the eye. "Heh, I suppose an extra pair of hands wouldn't hurt. I have already explored this place thoroughly, there is nothing more to be found here. We should set our sights on somewhere else nearby." With that, he heads north, expecting Lucifer to follow.
