im on the same page as you bro ^^ i like new ideas of who tobi is with reasonable facts that support their theory but over n over again like :
tobi = obito
tobi= ramen guy
tobi= izuna
wats wrong with you people! its been made already!
Meh,i don't care since i only look at the title,if the title is anything but "Tobi is Obito","Tobi is {A stupid name}" i might read it if not,i only wait for someone to flame the guy and say "What this guy said."

I hate theories concerning Obito as it shows the person hasn't put enough thought into the theory itself (ignoring massive plot holes)
But theories that are original or show something we haven't seen are pretty awesome

Yeah i get what you mean but it would be too obvious/cliche to bring back both the Madara Brothers xd
It has to be someone less known like Kagami could be Obito's dad (explaining the similar eyes)
Zetsu body parts to keep himself alive
Saw Hiruzen become Hokage, that could make someone pretty jealous and hateful, look what it did to Danzo.

I can see that's Kagami too. I don't think its a clone or anything. That's a drag. The main villain, a clone? Nah. One reason why I believe that Tobi is a Konoha Uchiha is that he knew when Kushina was having her baby. You know why? Who was the last chick Kushina talked to before heading off to the secret location to have her baby? Sasuke's mom, Mikoto Uchiha, the wife of Fugaku Uchiha, the leader of the Uchiha. Who was Fugaku probably friends with? Kagami, one of the elders. There is just no way Tobi could have known when unless he talked with Zetsu or had direct or indirect contact with Mikoto. Now don't ask me why he betrayed the clan.

Alright here is my rough theory on why Tobi is Kagami Uchiha
Kagami Uchiha = Obito's Dad maybe ?
Well knowing the info on Kakashi and Guy proves nothing, Zetsu (both white and black) filmed the fights involving Itachi and Kakashi, Kisame and Guy which means he just noticed these subtleties about them
As for nothing fight, he is as old as Hiruzen meaning he is in no shape and needs Zetsu body parts to stay how he is not to mention the Minato fight left him really messed up (and he was Hiruzen's age at this time) which should of killed him xd
The motive could be seeing Hiruzen become Hokage, witnessing the "betrayal" of the Uchiha much like Madara saw when Tobirama became Hokage
Madara could of indoctrinated him, told him to give the rinnegan to someone with a strong life force and resurrect him with Rinne of Rebirth, shown to be true when Madara says "So he revived me..." but noticed it was a different jutsu which restricted his free will
Madara knowing that he may be betrayed, he learnt the way of releasing Edo Tensei in the case of him being revived to be used as a tool by Tobi
Another time when Pain used Rinne of Rebirth for Konoha, tobi says "That was meant for me!", even though he is apparently immortal ?
It can only mean he planned to resurrect some one else and he was also going by the name of Madara Uchiha at the time, so "me" could of easily been referring to that
Kagami is also the right age to be Obito's dad, as Kakashi's dad fought in the First/Second Great Ninja war, Sasori caused the second war by killing the Third Kazekage (after his parents died) meaning the First Ninja War Kakashi's dad fought in was the same as the war Kagami fought in.
Sasori was a kid when his parents died (Sakumo Hatake killed them) meaning it must of been in the First Ninja war, as when Sasori was 15 (years later) he killed the Third Kazekage and caused the Second Ninja war.
Tobirama was said to have fought in the First great Ninja war and we saw Kagami on his extended team.
This means that it is highly possible for Tobi to be Obito's father, Kagami Uchiha

I had a reply, but the connection cut out. I agree with you that Zetsu recorded the fights, but I also think Tobi was demoralizing Kakashi.
If there is one thing that ****s my mind up, its that Tobi used Kotoamatsukami, or something connected to it, to control Yagura. That is what Mei or Ao said. Well she said Kotoamatsukami was connected to the power that was controlling Yagura, she didn't specifically say who it was.
