If Izuna never opened his half-dead mouth, Madara most likely would have agreed to the alliance earlier and Hashirama could have ordered some Senjus to help heal Izuna. If Madara accepted to be apart of the alliance earlier and Izuna was healed, Madara would never have the EMS and not be able to read the rest of the stone tablet black zetsu wrote. Tobirama maybe would have discriminated the Uchiha less if he knew them more when they joined earlier. Izuna messed everything up by telling Madara to disagree on joining the Senju.

Nah, Izuna had great reasoning, he's not wrong for what he said. Sure, there was a better way. But Izuna grew up in a time where his family was constantly being murdered by Senju. And then his brother was going to join up with them, Izuna was probably pissed since he didn't understand Madara's and Hashirama's past connection. Izuna was thinking of his fallen brothers, which is why he spoke out. He didn't trust the Senju, much like how Tobirama was always wary of the Uchiha.

and if madara was thinking of izuna and his brothers deaths, he should have told izuna that that was all the more reason to stop fighting. they couldnt win and would continue losing more.
