[PS3] Everything is trying to KILL ME! - Oblivion

Oblivion is a really nice game, I got it last weekend but, I'm really confused. I went and looked up a wiki of the game, but it gave an overwhelming amount of information. If you play this game do you have any tips for just basic survival and not everything out to kill you?!

I mean.. the first time I got out of the tutorial, some cat dude and this elf chick tried to kill me, but I killed them. Then I saw a guard on a horse, (But I thought it was a mob..) so I shot him, then he tried to arrest me when I JUST GOT OUT OF JAIL!!!

THEEEEEN, with some effort, I kill the guard, take his armor, and ride his horse to try and deliver this amulet thing... then ANOTHER cat thing tries to come and kill me and take my money.. so I killed him. Then, monsters try to kill my horse!! I defend my horse like such a great hero and then my HORSE TRIES TO KILL ME!! :T_T: Then it ran away!

Please tell me how to play this game the right way...

The 1st rule of that game is to not kill anything that doesn't try to kill you first.

Also, if they're barehanded, you should probably walk away and ignore them.

But I like to hunt monsters, I like getting the materials or junk that it drops, that goes for any game. But the cat thing that wanted to rob me came up from behind and scared the crap out of me.

I heard there was a lot of ways to get in jail or get in trouble with the guards and even things that can make people not like you. I want to go for a more 'good guy' role and only kill people when need be, and make sure people like me. But there's a lot of stealing you can do to survive.. but I don't want to get caught up in that.

What should I do about that?

Never played this, i wonder if is nearly as good as skyrim.

1. Follow any objective
2. Don't kill the guards,unless you want to be infamous by them.
3. Try not to hit your horse while attacking something otherwise it will attack you.
4. Kill anyone that try's to steal from you.

It's kinda simple. At first it may seem overwhelming but you gotta try to organize on the things you have to do first before tackling the rest of the game world.
