Everything i know about the sharingan has been busted.

Ok I will make this short and simple. The sharingan is able to copy some jutsu correct? But there are limitations that we all thought were there. I recently watched the first naruto movie over and well it seems that there is no restriction on what it can copy. I know you're thinking that makes no sense, but it's true in the first movie kakashi clearly copies a ice jutsu...... Thats a keki genkai if you didn't know.

Now i dunno if im tripping on something or what but does anyone know anything about this?

I agree, it did change from the beginning of the show. I think Kishi went in a diff. direction then he started out going with it. Now they don't use it to copy jutsu anymore

Bro movies r Kishis way of sayin 'what if?' yeh. Cos movies ain't deadset storyline, ther just whatever the fukk Kishi says 'what if?' to yeh.
So don't listen ta what movies say, whatever is mentioned in manga then it's true yeh.(ASIDE FRM WHAT IRUKA SAID ABOUT THE 3rd, "HE WAS THE STRONGEST:sy::flaw:

But the ice created in the movie was not from kekkai genkai it was use from the mountains around it and it does have limitations as to where when Guy thought Kakashi was an imposter by the enemy when they were on the boat Guy told him if he were the real kakashi copy his taijutsu and kakashi ssid he couldnt copy all jutsu

Bro that wasn't a real hyoton (Ice element) it was more like bending water under the form of ice, so basically it's like a suiton (wich kakashi has affinity to) and never trust movies or fillers movies carries so much contradiction:
1- in most movies Naruto performs rasengan without clones wich never occured in anime or manga.
2-in the second naruto shippuuden movie (bonds) you'll see that they added a 10th bijuu (reibii the zero tails) whereas it's confirmed that there're only 9 derived from juubi
3- in blood prison (5th shippuuden movie) Naruto knows sage mode whereas Konoha is just fine while in the original story Konoha was destroyed by Pain

Agreed when was the last time Anyone used the Sharingan to copy jutsu?!??!? I don't think that Kishi knew where he was headed in the story when Sharingans copied Jutsu... I mean how would that even be applied at this point?

Yea i get what you guys are saying. I just wasn't sure i had watched most other movies besides that one it just seemed odd to me. And btw to whoever said that it was bending the water in ice form that's not true other wise it would be a suiton jutsu and he did not say suiton when he used it lol.

Yea Kakashi don't bend water he makes water.

Sharigan doesn't copy jutsu, It copies movement and hand sign. If a uchiha is fighting a person with earth style and he himself doesn't have an affinity for earth he can't copy the jutsu. Where as if he is good with hand sign he can predict what he opponent is going to do next. Whether its earth, wind, fire, water, lightning.

Just to let everyone know. I do know how the sharingan is supposed to work but that scene in the movie just seemed a bit off to me.
