Shattered dreams and broken hearts,
Obviously go together.
We set our expectations way too high,
Just to find it's impossible to weather!

At one point we think we can climb,
Even the highest mountains;
And do any kind of task.
We think it's easy, a stroll in a park,
Well it is, we just have to ask!

We see things from our point of view
Quite different, than they appear to be.
We give ourselves in our pursuits, very ardently.

We must not let it throw us off course,
As everything can change tomorrow.
We must look up and keep in mind;
Life's too short for tears and sorrow!​
