Everyone Wants To Be Hokage? Kishi's Point.

Recentely we've had a surge of characters all claiming they want to be Hokage; Sakura, Kiba, Sasuke, etc.

Why though? Why is Kishi setting up all these characters to strive for the Hokage mantle?

It's not without reason. Kishi is trying to show us something, something that he's been trying to convey from the start. It's not always where you come from, who you are, or what you're told you're capable of, you can always rise to the top and succeed.

We've seen it in Naruto, Lee, Chouji, Sakura, Jiraiya, and many others. The one's who came from nothing; and yet reach the top.

This is what Kishi is doing with the Hokage title. He's not literally going to have every one of those characters fight for the title, he's just showing that they can all share and strive for the same dream. It's almost like "anybody can become president". "Anybody can become Hokage".

So this is Kishi's point: Everyone is capable. Everyone.

Well its actually like what Hiruzen said in his last moments..... A hokage is main the pillar that hold the village up but alone it can not do its job.... the main pillers needs equally resolute supporting pillars ..... I think thats what Kishi means, no matter how strong you are you can not do everything alone....

there can only be one Hokage at a time in charge, and people with the will of fire can become Hokage, Sasuke has not displayed it same goes for the rest accept for naruto, anyway he's the logical choice.. i'm sure people in Konoha would never allow Sasuke to be Hokage instead of Naruto... Logic has it who would you choose: A guy who protected all of you which you guys abused in the past or a wannabe traitor who has came to his senses and forgetting that his conviction is way too unstable?

On the lighter/funny side, I think Kishi wants to go for HOKAGE Exams because previous Chunnin exams were interrupted by Oro & Sand village.
