In all seriousness, I'd love to see something, but it is not going to happen. Why? Because Kishimoto has trouble writing female characters significantly changing things on their own. His own words, not mine. It doesn't matter who the character would be. Look at Kaguya this chapter. Absorbed by some rabbit cloud bijuu chakra thing. Her son has no clue what's up and he's been directing her every move since she got here. It wouldn't matter who the female protagonist of the story is, Hinata or Sakura, in the end Kishimoto won't know what to do with them.
Here's the other thing: he's pigeon-holed Sakura into being the representative of "normality" on Team 7. She represents unconditional love as a weakness. He's reiterated that for years that Sakura is meant to be vulnerable, even though he likes her spunkiness. Early Sakura had a huuuuge amount of ways she could have developed. Kishi scrapped that in order to pursue parallels between the Sannin and Team 7.
It is frustrating. Most of the people constantly yelling about Sakura's "useless" can agree that for all the build up we can get waiting for her to do something amazing to watch get saved, again, is just...bad writing. Hell, as a woman, it gets annoying. But hell, Kishi won't change his course, and it is time people accept that. He's never going to make her a one woman army like Naruto or Sasuke or Kakashi. If you want female badassery of the highest caliber, go read black lagoon, not Naruto.
Instead of hoping for some Kishimoto Jesus miracle juice to land on Sakura, just try and appreciate how much she has grown. We had a weak, ineffective paper ninja given to us. Unlike Naru and Sauce, she is not from a clan, reincarnated from OP as F brothers, has no demon. Once Naruto got Jiraiya to train him, everything fell into place for him. He had a crap childhood, but he had so much going for him once he got going. Sasuke? He was handed things duuuh.
Sakura didn't have that. She begged Tsunade and sweated to be where she is right now. And ignoring the unnaturalness of Naruto and Sasuke, and they are highly unnatural for the world they are living in, she's done great. She's probably close to standing with Tsunade on equal ground. She managed a byakogou seal in three or four years. We don't see how she developed because the focus has always, always been on Naruto and Sasuke because Kishimoto admits he doesn't "understand women" or something. So let's just appreciate how a tiny lovesick twelve year old who fainted from one d-rank genjutsu grew up to make craters with fists and perform open heart surgery while completely exhausted from healing presumably dozens of people.
