Well from the trailer it looks the same so I doubt it. Plus what author sells a best selling novel to a movie company and let's them butcher their work.

They want to make a movie on it because the book was good.

you understand that the book came out in the year 1930? And there's no way the author sold the book rights to the movie company because the author died in 1961. That is exactly why I said the plot would be different because if you read the plot of the story via wikpedia the movie and the book are nothing alike except for the fact that the protagonist day dreams.

So? You know how many classics of things that were written over a hundred years ago that are still being publish and the story is still being told? Also you do know that wikipedia can be edited by anyone right?

I'm just saying that from what I've seen in these two trailers it looks like the same scenarios from the book, take it or leave it. I couldn't care less.
