what is adult kawaki has figured out that the only way to stop this curse is to end the reincarnation of indra and ashaura by eliminating all possible candidate that the two can pass on next to.
to do this his plan is to wipe out all charka sensitive people.
thus the beginning of the fifth great ninja/human war( the reason why the hidden leaf is in disaster) or the next generations conflict. this conflict could have occurred because of the increase number of normal humans(giant skyscrapers behind hokage faces) could be because peace has been accomplished and the survival rate for normal people has increased by 90%. With more normal people ninjas are becoming the minority and obsolete. low class ninjas get fed up with the normal people and with their abilities go out to steal from the rich with ease and the ninjas says " this is real power".
its a battle between normal humans and ninjas. but how do normal humans stand against fire bending, water walking, ****s. they use the tailed beast, a new invention a mecha gego status that is powered by the absorption of the tailed beast charka. Like a charka 3d printer, itcan replicate any jutsu, this is how the humans are able to make sealed jutsu scrolls and weapons. but all this is in the future.
Their leader is kawaki because he was once a normal person with normal parents but one tragic day they died from ninjas. Kawaki is now an orphan and is taken in by konaha and Naruto personally trains him because kawaki reminded him of sasuke and can sense the darkness with in him. kawaki gains some unknown power that allows him to control nature charka or is given a curse mark( which is hard to control even for ninjas, for a normal human it seemed impossible), but he can manage to control it because of his strong will and with the help of the 7th hokage.
the conflict starts between boruto and kawaki, they soon become rivals/ secret butt buddies.
years later kawaki is an anbu, he mostly sorts out small disputes(ex. ninja dude explains his new ninja scroll to his three ninja students and fires a rasangan destroying a home) between ninjas and humans. but on one mission he witnesses smoke in the distance. he find out ninjas were raiding a small farm village. that triggers his pass and kills all the low class ninjas saying at the end with blood dripping "that was to easy",their was no survivors because kawaki was miles away when he saw the smoke in the air. reminded of the darkness he makes a pledged to the villagers he would no longer stand by and let the ninjas take whatever they wanted.
boruto is jealous of kawaki because the 7th is giving him special treatments. thus starts the the whole brother feud once again.
