I think since he lost his village shunned him so he took that forbidden ninjutsu that makes you do that and took the leaders hearts or something like that

I think it's a good match up. But Hashirama's techs are at a grand scale so idk how Kakuzu could deal with it. Maybe Katon+Futon attack?

It was most likely an young hashirama VS Kakuzu. Hashirama either spared him, or Kakuzu mangaed to escape.
