Why does "god" allow things like these to happen?

The world is a terribly cruel place.. things like that and worse happen constantly even as we speak. It's sad but there is nothing that can be done about it.. sometimes I doubt whether God exists.. you may call me out on it but its what I think.

I know right, people that believe in God only believe in him because they were brainwashed from birth.

It's not God to blame, It's the societies and the environment which surrounds us. :yeah:

The social and cultural influence are some of the things that people tend to overlook or belittle(either of the two). U_U
People typically look at a person, then their family. From their family, it goes to their neighborhoods and then to the World. What the **** happened to the things(societies + culture) that are responsible for everything that goes on where you live, anyway? Even if people do recognize this as the cause, they are unable to change it. They lack determination and hope for the good and better. Then... that's where Naruto comes in.

Seriously, you can either be like Obito OR you can be like Naruto. :scorps:

The OP isn't blaming God (I don't think), he's just wondering why he didn't put a stop to something which is clearly Evil.

Isn't it obvious? It's because we are here to stop all of this. Why should we humans exist if he can do all of that? U_U

Yeah. It makes you think, but do you act?
What's the point of contemplating on such matters if you don't do anything about 'em? You're wasting thoughts and time in that case.

Idiot of a mom...O_O
You can't even call her a mother..
Everybody has free will. what we do with it determines who we want to be to ourselves and others
Yes I know but why doesn't your god step in at time? A baby? really? I'm just glad the baby survived

I'm in the same boat as you my friend
She is not a MOM....She is TRASH
She's lower than trash, atleast trash has a use it can be recycled. People like her should just be executed
I know right, people that believe in God only believe in him because they were brainwashed from birth.
Or simply because they've lived happy easy lives so they don't know about the strife's and conflicts that goes on around the world.

I'd choose Obito. It's why he's my favorite character I can relate to his mindset of course I wouldn't go to drastic measures such as these but you know what I mean

That's a pretty dumb mindset we're only humans there's only so much that we can do how are we gonna know when something is gonna happen? A woman in India was raped on a bus by 14 men and murdered. That was somebody's mother, sister, aunt, daughter, someones loved one. No one had no idea she would've gotten raped that day but it happened right? How are we supposed to know? If we could know all the consequences of our actions and take the right path all the time no one would grow or learn from their mistakes, but there are some things that just can't happen. It's common sense that some things are just wrong. How can you do this to your child whom you carried for 9 months when the mother looked into the face of that baby did she not see her own face? Or did she not care? How can anyone do this to any child? Man I've never been so provoked to attack a woman

Good to know the free will of killers is more valuable to God than the lives they take.
Luckily the child is still alive the uncle saved him this is all just food for thought.

What? I can see your point but you sound ignorant, how am I supposed to stop that event if I didn't know about it? If I'm a ocean away from where it's happening? Of course if I see something happen infront of me I try to stop it at all costs I was never the type of kid to be a bystander.

Meh "god". It's us,humans. We can be cruel and ruthless sometimes. Not that this is an excuse for this action.

Makes sense, but I'm not just talking about that story. If tragedies of all sorts disgust you so much, then you should attempt to make a change in whatever way you can. You could be for all I know. I'm just making assumptions here.
Talk is so unbelievably cheap. I don't get anime fans--although I'm one myself. You guys look up to such special characters whom have or had big dreams, yet you decide to live such ordinary lives. The lot of you chill like there's no tomorrow whilst people are out there living miserable lives. If Obito was real, he'd think low of you if you're not doing anything meaningful with your life. So, why admire a character who'd belittle you?
Don't take me for a hypocrite; I'm going to boot camp next month to become a Marine. My life of fulfillment will begin then.

So I'm supposed to go change the world huh? Sounds a little unrealistic. I know what you mean but honestly what can I do? I try to stop every thing I see but there are things out there that I just can't do. Even the president has limited power. Although I just think he's a propaganda puppet

Lol change the world? Goodness no. I just suggest you change some lives and spread positivity, at least. Just being a happy person is enough imo. Putting smiles on faces. Not being a bitter f*ck basically.
My goals are just to change trash and prevent trash. I f*cking love good, quality people because they're a rare breed. I want to show them they're appreciated. After hearing and reading so many f*cked up news stories and seeing so many bogus comments on various sites (LiveLeak, Worldstarhiphop, Yahoo!, YouTube), I wanna award good people for not being trash.
Understand? That's not me wanting to change the world. However, it's something.

It's sad isn't it? :(

Because the only way to stop such things would be to take away humanities freewill and that is the most cruel thing that he can possibly do. Would you want to be nothing more than a mindless puppet controlled by god but secure in the knowledge you won't be hurt by anyone else?

You cry to god whenever something happens wanting him to fix everything when nothing is broken. The only way to fix a problem would be to break other things. If he made it so you cannot stab a baby then it would be impossible for doctors to operate on a baby in order to save it because a baby must be cut before being operated on at times. You just doomed hundreds of thousands because of your ignorant fear.

You see things in such a narrow sense you might as well be an infant. In order to understand why god does not fix all "bad" things you have to think in a MUCH broader sense. He could stop people from dying but then we would over-populate, run out of room, and have no food or drinkable water.

You got the wrong answer. The correct answer is: both. :p Yah, it was sort of a trick question. =D You need the Yin(Obito) and the Yang(Naruto). Both are needed for stability and balance of the World. :yeah: Just something to contemplate on. *_*

You misunderstand. Of course some things that are out of our control, we have a God to take care of all that. Although, some people are grown up to have illogical mindsets(i.e. atheists) who question why God even exists. Well the answer is there - to take care of things we can't, as well as other of course. Anyways my friend, I wanted to make the point that other then God, there are other things that are responsible for everything that goes on in our World. There are governments, societies and cultures of a country. U_U In all honesty, Western culture in particular has spread throughout the World. Maybe not in it's entirety but some of it. But now has anyone thought about whether there is any thing wrong with that. I could elaborate if you want but maybe you get the point. :yeah:
