Peacocks eats poisonous snakes. The concept of fight between phoenex and dragon came from somewhere you know.

Besides have you ever seen a wild elephant when it goes on rampage? Seriously - I have waited for half an hour in a bus and seen the whole traffic stopped on both sides of roads absolutely still because one of it was peacefully eating tree leaves from a road side tree and no one dared to disturb it.


Another funny reminder weasel and snake are almost equal- you never know who would win between their battle. ( Itachi is Japanese for weasel*)

Gai is kind of lame, and Gai's techniques all have sort of lame names. It's just his personality, and Kishi is faithful to the personality.

Midnight dragon off the bat wld have been too predictable c'mon who wasnt expecting that, I commend Kishi for doing this and besides I like elephants, largest land animals and all, really powerfull beast, and many pple from places I've been to had to relocate just coz there a couple elephants around.
After u understand night elephant then can u b given more(Gai runs top speed around Madara then finally heads for him as he starts dissolving into the steam(crimson red by then) and his finale attack midnight dragon is done as large mases of displaced air follows in his path and comes crashing into madara as a twinney red dragon akin to Goku's piecing dragon attack just in this case the head is Gai's aura that he has dissolved into.
This after noticing the way Gai has readied two fist and assuming they will b the tusks of the "elephant" and the air Gai displaced when he blitzed to Madara then comes trying to correct the vaccum imbalance caused by Gai' speed crashes into madara in line with the fist(Isaw a better version of the explanation see night elephant is a weight tech thread)

I see your point but it does keep the theme of naming gai's most powerful jutsu's with really misleading names. I just find it funny that such powerful jutsus can have such crap names.
