Yeah, people shouldn't fear death so much; death is just another part of life. If someone's in pain and they're reaching the end of their life anyway, then they should be able to choose to end it quicker. Why suffer when you're going to die pretty soon as it is?

If the person is in pain and suffering too much, then it's up to either the person him/herself or the relatives to decide on it.
If that person is going to die anyway, then why should he/she be in pain during the process?
As long as they give their consent, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Sure, as long as they're crippled by a terminal illness.
But the act it self would present some legal problems for the one aiding the sick depending on which country you're in. This could ultimately ruin a perfectly healthy individual's life. And yes, I am ignoring the fact that folk can travel.

If someone doesn't want to live, it is their choice. People can sign a DNR form, which is basically the same thing IMO, so why not have a legal system where people can commit suicide?
I'm not saying it's right, because giving up on life isn't always the right thing and it can hurt those around you. But at the same time people suffer and just don't want to live, you can't make them.
So yeh, it should be allowed, but have a system involved so people can't just go around killing people saying they wanted to die...

I think they should legalize it but have certain conditions to it. I think it'll be f**ked up they let depressed and so forth, people be able to get assistance for suicide.
But say for terminal patients, I think they should be able to choose if they want to live or die. Some people are in so much pain that they die from it. I mean, that's cruel if they don't want pain but the government basically say's "No, just handle the pain until you die"
