Personally I prefer American music. I've been to Vienna and seen classical music preformed live and its just not for me. Perhaps if I grew up listening to it I'd have a better appreciation for it.

Classical music is amazing but you just have to be into it to understand it. :/

Classical is not relevant. I say this because none of us actually listen to it unless we are watching a tom and jerry cartoon or something along those lines... Anyways both sides have had an impact on music. Such as the Jazz and the Blues of the 20's that would eventually inspire acts like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath and then their heavy sound would eventually inspire punk rock bands in both north america and europe such as The Ramones and The *** Pistols... Eventually mutating into grunge and it just keeps going...

Let me put it like this... I prefer American Music.
But European is just simply better.

I dont get this side sometimes... Some people think that everything has to be proven and the world is so black and white. Music is art. Arts definition is that to be art it can only be art. it cant be of practicel use or have any other purpose. Therefore you cant prove that one kind of art is better than another kind of art, just because "experts" sais it is. and not by how long it last either (caugh caugh... Sasori vs. Deidera discussion). I side with TheCheesasaurus on the fact that its opinionated, but I myself listens to more european music
