What's your opinion on Eugenics practised by the Japanese for elimination of diseases?

Japanese folks be needing Allah, that's what's up.

Human innovation occurs mainly out of insecurity.

Obviously, those that seek to devise innovations that transgress the boundaries dictated by Allah will only suffer.

The opposite is for the purpose of righteousness as decreed by Allah; this is based on discovery rather than innovation. It also borders on manipulation of knowledge for the purposes of application or for the betterment of humanity as it has been decreed.

It's not right.

There was a similar process in my country in the past, people were sterelized because they were deemed "stupid" and people didn't want their stupidity to infect the rest of society, I don't know if this was the same, but they also did experiments on people, like testing if sugar was bad for your teeth by feeding people nothing but candy until their teeth were destroyed.

With genetic diseases it seems more complicated, because you can see the rationale, like if someone had autism i can imagine some people not wanting to have kids with that person because there is an element of dna when it comes to autism, people could make choices like that.
Perhaps people don't wanna employ people with disabilities or genetic diseases either.

But overall, I don't like it, I hate it. This is exactly the type of stuff I hate. I can't argue against it because I'm not good at that, I would lose that argument but it's inhumane.

The world is filled with so many problems, I think it's fine if people have genetic diseases and have kids, it's their responsibility, it shouldn't be up to society to act like a dictator of peoples lives this way.

I had to research the definition cause i didn't know what it was.

Honestly, i don't know. Judging by what i read it didn't seem that bad. I mean, assuming they're not doing anything harmful that is.

They're trying to eliminate stains of humans they deem to carry a genetic deficiency by inhibiting(sterilising) their ability to pass on their genes. The fact is there's no guarantee that deficient genes or genetic diseases will be passed onto the off spring.

It seems they're doing it for the benefit of society at least that's what they believe. However it's at the detriment of free will and choice of those individuals.

Eugenics isn't some solid idea like anarchy where the word has an absolute meaning. It's more like world peace where everyone has a different take on how to achieve it. Some people may want things like autism to remain because they don't consider it an actual issue. Others may consider blacks worthy of reducing by justification with skewed statistics. Maybe someone would even be ballsy enough to infest and tag a race with a major disease to sterilize it.

It's really just an end goal that includes eliminating "x" things. I can't always agree on what's being eliminated, but I will always support humans' progress in the technology to carry it out. There's not a thing wrong having the capability to wipe diabetes or whites/blacks/Asians/Polynesians off the map; It's the go ahead to target "x" that we should worry about.

I'm unsure if it would even work. These genetic disorders will always pop up in the future.
