Eternal mangekyou sharingan

Wasn't Madara supposed to get a new mangekyou sharingan after he had taken kakashi's/(obito's) mangekyou sharingan ? Even though he gave it back, should they have showed the design at least in one panel then?

I don't know about that mate..in some manga panel they said ''the same clanmembers''(i don't know if that's the same as siblings) as the condition and ''that not everyone gained the new light".
However this thread certainly pointed out what i hadn't thought of..
