So I have a theory on achieving EMS.
Here Itachi says:

You must be registered for see images

Simply gaining another Uchiha's eyes w/ MS didn't mean you'd gain EMS. Like he said, many sacrifices were made.

Many say that you need to get the eyes from your sibling in order to get EMS but this wasn't stated. It was said exchanging w/ clansmen, as in the entire Uchiha clan. Also, if all you needed were eyes from a sibling then why were so many sacrifices made? Obviously with some Uchiha obtaining a sibling's eyes didn't work so they tried stealing others (the sacrifices that were made). Following me?

So here's my theory. I believe obtaining EMS has to do with the type of MS you have and what type you take.Straight tomoe or (not sure if this is the actual term or if there even is one but ->) Curved tomoe.

We know that Sasuke and Izuna both have straight tomoe.

And Itachi and Madara have Curved tomoe

Now before I go on I'll explain a little bit about curved tomoe and straight tomoe theory in case you are unaware.
A straight tomoe is a MS design that seems to sprout straight outward from the original/center tomoe
A curved tomoe is a MS design that curves or spirals around the original/center tomoe
(all theory of course but highly plausible)

When Sasuke gained Itachi's, Itachi's MS pattern changed from curved to straight further proving this theory and straight/curved tomoe theory to be true.

So simply put, my theory is that in order to gain EMS one must retrieve the eyes of another Uchiha who's MS type is different from their own.
There are other theories I've that suggest "Straight tomoe" is just another term for EMS and if that turns out to be true then it completely and utterly solos this theory lel

I'm relatively new here and if there's already been a thread like this I apologize.

Hahaha people just make up stuff on this site. When did kishi say Itachi and Madara had curved tomoe, when Madara and Sasuke has straight tomoe

But in all honesty i theorize that Sasuke and Madara being Indras Incarnations are the only ones capable of obtaining EMS

If you'd read I said I'm new here and apologize if there'd been a thread like this already. Just because threads include the same material or theory does not mean one copied from the other.
