I'm sure this thread has been made before but the search engine brought up too many threads for me to look through them all so please if anyone knows answer the question without sarcasm then let the thread die.

I often see threads that compare MS and EMS saying that EMS is stronger. I may have not been paying attention to the manga (sorry if this is true) but I thought that the only difference between MS and EMS was that EMS doesn't cause blindness. If that's true is that so important that people say that Sasuke (or other sharingan users) will lose if they only have MS but will win if they have EMS? Does EMS do anything else?

No you're pretty much right. the only person we've seen use ems so far is Madara but we didnt see much because he quickly activated his rinnegan.

According to Itachi, apparently you unlock a new ocular power. I'm pretty sure he told Sasuke this. (correct me if I'm wrong) We didn't get to see anything new from Madaras EMS because he was forced to switch to the Rinnegan to absorb Narutos Rasenshuriken. But I think that was Kishis way of saving Sasukes power as a surprise. We'll just have to wait and see.

EMS is hyped so much because of Madara, when all we know is that it doesn't cause blindness, however the affects of the MS techniques still remain, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susanoo, ALL GREAT CHAKRA EATERS.

Nowhere in the Uchiha hand book does it say that the EMS grants the user higher chakra reserves or whatever, so if you're chakra is shit before, it's shit after. Itachi with EMS still has Foo ass chakra. Same thing with Sasuke, only diff is, Sasuke will be able to see his ass getting kicked once he's drained all his chakra, spamming his MS techniques.

MS causes blindness, but not after just 1 fight...Itachi used it for years which is why I'm saying that in these versus threads, it doesn't make sense to say that because someone has EMS rather than MS, they'll win.

Obviously if someone is allowing Ms in their thread they are assuming the user is fully capable of using it. No one is posting "Itachi vs. Minato but Itachi can only use 1 more MS technique before he's completely blind"

Does anyone else think Kakashi is hiding an ability? I think he may have EMS but decided it was safer that no one should know......sounds like him doesnt it? And didnt Itachi say that Madara has a special/unique ability when they achieve an implanted eye? So would Kakashi's be his time dimensional jutsu?

Kakashi's MS causes him pain and he can't continually use it. I think this is a sign that he just has MS and it's making him go blind.
